Fu Xuan is a shoe-in for General of the Luofu for sure, but I love the idea of Qingque eventually becoming the Master Diviner despite her... quirks, though sheer ability. She's simply too good and falls upwards despite herself.

I've been waiting so long for these two to show up again so something I found would be relevant: Weeping Hearts by PrimalInfinty on Ao3

It's a Whiterose fic that encapsulates these two perfectly. Now, before you write it off for not knowing or just not liking RWBY at all; the characters are written so distinctly from their source material counterparts they are essentially fully original characters, and in fact it might be better with less knowledge of the source. There's some decisions, especially at the halfway point of the story, that may put off actual RWBY fans.

So if you are just looking for some damn good dark angsty vampire fiction with this dynamic specifically (granted, with a little more initial antagonism on both sides) give it a shot. You can slot these two over Ruby and Weiss and be none the wiser.
