I'm surprised how low Asuka x Tomoko ranked.

No kidding! As a partner, Asuka narrowly beat out Tomoko's non-friend, Komi-something. And she just barely squeaked past Tomoko's own @#$ing brother! Tomoko was in a bad place when that was a possibility, Japanese people. A very bad place. She's better now.

Latest chapter had another heterosexual moment from Tomoko where she claims she slept with Yuu "emotionally". Definitely referring to that chapter where she imagined sex with Yuu. That said, possibly spreading rumors that Yuu is a lesbian slut might not go well.

Kuro x Nemo (My OTP) there were some really sweet lines from Nemo, but Kuro is the dense protagonist

There's something disproportionately amusing about the way Koharu keeps unwittingly making Sachi uncomfortably self-aware lmao

I want Yuri's little fantasy of all them sharing a house to be real (with Nemo of course). All of Tomoko's harem living together.

I mean, Yuri and Ucchi are DEFINITELY 1000% going to be there, that's like set in stone already hahaha

I love that Yuri likes Kuro so much that just the fact that Nemo exist is a problem for her, like "please don't take her away, you are already popular with friends and a dream don't take Kuro too" but Nemo has a huge heart, still trying to fix that.

My off-the-cuff list of who Tomoko has said or shown signs of thinking are her top 5 hottest girls:
1. Asuka
2. Shizuku (really, go back over what she's thought about her)
3. Fuuka
4. Yuu
5. Megumi (total elegant sempai package)

Yuri is naturally beautiful but wouldn't make the top 5 hottest because (a) she takes no concerns over her appearance whatsoever and (b) she reminds Tomoko painfully of her own flaws. Which makes her a good friend sometimes, but is off-putting. Tomoko loves Yoshida's breasts, but Yuu and Asuka have more to offer besides that.

also, why do so many people here think Shizuku has no chance? Tomoko is massively into Shizuku! It may be Tomoko's lustful while Shizuku is romantic, though.

Jumping in again to say I read all the pairings speciasl, finally, and the sacchi and kibako stuff is really genius. It's art.

Also, as much as I love Tomoko, she's way eviler than Kibako. She's almost in Sacchi territory. Though no one is as evil as Sacchi.

My list of scumbags:

1. Sacchi - Really cruel, and super good at it.
2. Komi-something - even disses her only friends to a degree Tomoko, Koharu, or Yuri wouldn't do.
3. Tomoko - The whole series is her being an apparently cute and helpless girl who's secretly totally scummy.
4. Koharu - Even scummier than Tomoko, but so bad at it that she comes off funny vs. really landing her punches.

I don't think anyone else fits, though Ucchi, and to a degree Yuri, can be bad with their mental and emotional issues

Scummy-like behaviour:

1. Ucchi - loses control super easily.
2. Yuri - Blunt to the point of madness.

Been a while huh. Decided to spend a day catching up to Watamote by starting at the field trip arc (sorry I'm too weak to relive the cringe from the earlier chapters)... only to find out the cringe gets SO MUCH WORSE. Disneyland arc, Suspension arc and Summer camp arc are still my faves. I do like the latest Festival arc. It had its great moments BUT it also had imo the WORST CRINGE moments.

I do like that the latest chapter introduced a possible rival who is the current student council president. I'm excited to see her get corrupted and maybe even enter Tomoko's harem lol.
