I saw "kinuta" and had an inkling that she would turn out to be a tanuki. The story showed us where it was going and I delightfully went along for the ride. Looking forward to seeing more of the two too!

There's even more hints about it "Kinuta" is "Tanuki" backward, also her profile picture is a tanuki, which is cute.
And about Konno, well, there's the "Kon" the famous bark bark of the foxes.
Also, Kinuta probably noticed that Konno was a fox because of her smell or something? Animal instinct perhaps...
