Don't get why people think the artist implies that all tomboys secretely want to be feminine or that tomboys don't exist and are just forced to act that way by their surroundings or something.
Obviously this trope is popular because of the gap-moe as well as the reversal. In the end, the cute girl is the cool one and vice versa, it's the contrast and reversal that makes it good. In a way it says that you shouldn't feel forced to behave or act a certain way just because of how you look and people perceive you.
As a tomboy myself, even though I'm just truthfully not into frilly stuff or makeup or whatever, I find this really sweet and endearing.
Why would the author imply that tomboys don't really exist, when there's more than enough Yuri out there with tomboys? This is just one story, and yes it's a theme we've come across before, but it's not meant as a statement, just a cute story of contrast and reversal.
Idk, anyway, thanks for the upload!
