Meh, I'm angry at myself. I put off doing daily for today and I run out of time. Once I was short, I did try using some strategy from internet, to just clear it, but I didn't leave myself enough time, so I didn't manage to do it before time was up. So I only cleared it with risk 4 and no challenge. Sad lost currency noises.

Wow that was tough. Congrats. Personally I find it easy enough for a risk 8 clear. That ranged units ban for 3 risk is basically a freebie for Guardknights. Even just four of the Big 5 is easy mode.

Usually the risk 8 clears for daily maps are pretty easy, it's trying to max risk clear it that makes it more difficult. I did actually manage a risk 14 clear for this map but I'm having a hard time recreating it again to record. Pretty sure the reason I was able to clear it was due to Hoshi's resist RNG and I haven't gotten lucky enough to do it again.

EDIT: Figured it out. Turns out I just needed a Blaze and to focus on killing the mage first instead of trying to tough it out.

Don't worry, the second week adds new risk tags that make clearing it at risk 18 a lot easier. There's people who've cleared it all with E1 operators or with low rarity operators back when the CN server had the event.

Does anyone have any idea of how profitable NA/Global is? I'd hate to see this game end up with the same fate as Magia Record soon.

It has a lot more players than Magia Record had so it should be fine for quite a while.

It is. Even in CN with all the CC events they've had, the first one is the hardest. It even gets easier with the latest CC in CN being laughably easy.

Arknights definitely doesn't lose in terms of how much people whale on it, also it has a lot more players than you think. It also has a pretty good market with content creators. I'm not sure how much hype Magia Record got, but you can see a lot of Arknights videos with over 100k views on youtube, something that I don't often see for gacha games unless it's a summons video. There's also a lot of fanart made for it, and the global server hasn't even been out for a year yet.

Also sidenote, Arknights is honestly really generous with their gacha currency and I've seen a bunch of people say that's exactly why they want to spend money on it. There's also the monthly card that lets you do a 10 pull at a steal while also getting extra sanity daily. This kind of attitude where the game is actually generous with what you can get as F2P makes people want to spend more money on it. I definitely feel a lot better spending money on Arknights than when I whaled on FGO. I still regret whaling on FGO.

Found a low rarity guide for anyone who needs it! It's also mostly E1 operators so it's even easier to accomplish, though it relies on heat pump RNG so it might take a while to get it done. Here's the video. It says there's a 30% success rate but that's pretty good considering the team comp.
