i wouldn't say that yes gamefreak did cut some corners but the game is honestly fun.As some who beat the game in 70 hours said the game is short if you make it short. This game unlike most let you skip a lot so unlike USUM witch has hours of tutorial this one stops you a lot but its a quick this is next section or rival battle. Also this game doesn't have a evil team that they focus on but one person with a goal(which isn't really evil) some people that help them and some clowns.You can see they focus mainly on the pokemon,battle mechanics, and max raid battles which i'm not mad at. Yes the story is so so(not like i hate it) but the lore and setting I like.Don't really feel like typing no more so.Hopefully they go back to the old formula of the first two games being like test run and they improve it with the third and final game.I give them a pass because they are working with new system that they need to get use to and i know what they can do when they get it together.
