I'm not so sure it's a top/bottom thing so much as Catherine being really thirsty and Shamir enjoying messing with her. Or something like that. I guess you could phrase it as them both being dominant or aggressive, just in different ways. Catherine more openly and Shamir more subtly.

...I spend way too much time and energy into thinking about these kinds of things, don't I?

^Perhaps for Hilda ability it's supposed to be guys showing off around her because they want to impress a cute girl, and for Leonie it's supposed to be showing off to guys, to prove she's just as good if not better than the men around her? That seems somewhat likely, given what little I know about Leonie. I know nothing about Hilda though, other than that I killed her in cold blood in my playthrough.

update: turns out i didn't kill her and now we're best friends forever.
