Forgiveness is nice and all that but it certainly has limitations. Nana would've been incarcerated for assault and Junna "forgiving" Nana would be some result of trauma or something dissociative. Junna would need some meds and therapy...
Fuck this is dark :( It's fiction I know. But I remember some Alain de Botton video-lecture about why we are fond of watching/reading stories about murder, not because we love them and would act on those but precisely because it reveals the hero in us.
And I'm glad to see that being played out in the comments section, moral compass is okay.
We all love some rapey smut (tho this one isn't categorically rapey smut) but IRL, rape is something majority of us would stop from happening to anyone if we got the chance.
