I rather like this. The idea of a Country of Rails reminds me of Kino's Journey. I can definitely see her going to this sort of place.

I remember finding this fanfic a year or so ago, before I even had an account or fully understood what Touhou was. (I was one of those "What anime is this from?" guys.) At the time, I thought that it was a modern-day au, and thought that Renko and Maribel were actually AU versions of Reimu and Marisa.

Now here I am, a few years later, gawking at the same work yet again. Except this time, I know what I'm looking at.

It's beautiful, the feeling of a journey traveled and ended. I love fantasy stories which I can randomly think about later in daily life.

Trains feel so lonely sometimes. As weird as it is to say this I feel like this doujin captured the romanticism of a train and the journeys they take.

Also I don't think renko finished her assignment.
