I am BEYOND happy Dynasty exists!! I have been absorbed by American politics over the past year and this past week has been especially brutal. I have not been very active here because of it =( ... Well, I managed to catch Netflix's Godzilla: Planet of Monsters and I kind of agree with a review that said it needs to decide if it wants to be a sci-fi or a Godzilla movie, because its kind of all over the place. I found a lot of the motivations for the characters to be more than a tad nonsensical and/or irrational. In fact, some of the underlying narrative needed a lot of work to make it more logical I think.

I'm not saying it was a bad movie....just...well...kinda mediocre. The visuals are great, don't get me wrong. It had some interesting designs, though felt a little too much like they took Knights of Sidonia aesthetic for some stuff.
