@Bugpope: The original pun is "Death Skewers". 죽음의 꽃이 피었다 (Jugeum-eui kkot-shi pieotda, lit. "The flower of death has bloomed") is the Korean term for Reaper's Death Blossom ability, and 꽃이 (kkott-shi; flower) happens to sound similar to 꼬치 (kko-chi; skewer, as in meat skewers). See here for an illustration. "Death Floss'em" is my awkward attempt at trying to localize this Death Blossom pun, since I didn't want to insert such a long TL note directly into the comic. TwT

They are "canon", the fact is that the official manga for the FGO (more like a joke manga) has some gags involving the two
