My, this was actually a pretty solid read from start to finish. Poor Kokoro, i think she learned the harshest lesson out of all. Suggesting the Drama and Kokoro x Rin tag, anyone?

EDIT: also now that i think about it, isn't Rin relatively strong as a youkai compared to humans?

I think Rin gave herself up because she was inclined to try and atone for her actions. At least partially.

Screwed if she did, screwed if she didn't. Why even bother with humans Kokoro?

I can never seem to actually like Rin in the first place, so her fate (which is probably more merciful than Reimu's approach) doesn't really bother me much.
