I see some people saying Sungji gave up on Sumin and will walk away because she told Seju to portend she didn't win against her. Lol, what? Sungji told her she has people around herself, Sumin included. She was most likely asked to bring Seju home if she sees her but she took her to the cafe instead and gave her quite a lesson. What Seju won was simply more time (she probably didn't want to go back and that's why Sungji talked to her), nothing else .

So, I've been visiting this page for such a long time, I must say reading your opinions is truly entertaining and Nora89 usually made my day with her comments here (seriously, I simply love how you and Foxy Lady tend to analyze even the body language, facial expression and connect the dots from earlier chapters). That aside, I won't go into it too much, but I can't help but think about the flashback in chapter 49., when Sumin, who really can't drink well, got drunk and slept with Nami, and it occurred after Nami told her she slept with Seju. I kind of remembered the incident with the bartender...

I meant the incident and how I also believe that there are some small hints scattered over different chapters that it wasn't completely Seju's fault. That's how I kind of connected chapter 49. with chapter 10. and 11., but, of course, that's me overanalyzing. xD

ah, while we know that what we saw was only Sumin's part of the story, and never Seju's.. I always think what if there was really something we don't know and later Sumin would find out.. I can only see it destroying her further rather than just forgiving Seju and giving her the trust back.
I personally have very conflicted feelings about how it should be dealt with.. or whether ignoring it is the best for Seju and Sumin. I don't know

I believed in her role in this story regardless of my preference of the ending.. of course it will be hot to see Sungji and Seju dating instead.. that flirty face of Seju hehehe. Whoa, how many pages did you write since I commented here last time?! Like a hundred?!

Jokes aside, I'm on a vacation in a place without the internet or even electricity... good thing my current phone can last like 2 weeks without being charged once it loses lte/2g/3g/wifi connection. I own only 1 powerbank that can charge my phone twice. But it's a great place otherwise and disconnecting can be really good once you get used to it or end up with 4% blood in the booze :D

We don't see Seju physically message Sungji as far as i can see, all we see is Sungji getting a text saying to come to her office while she is on the bus at 9:38pm. This is after Sungji leaves Sumin at the office (Shown in the flashback straight after the text messsge), who unbeknownst to Sungji was going to see Seju. (As talked about in the phone call between Sumin and Seju at the start of chapter 54)

I'm not sure if Seju had planned to be having sex with Sumin when she had messaged Sungji and she definitely didnt know that Sumin was going to drop the "I love you" bomb, but to me she did seem to take advantage of Sumin's confession and guilt her into having sex whilst knowing that Sungji was on her way over. (Just to clarify: Yes Sumin did also have a choice to not give in to Seju, just like Seju had a choice to not ask for sex while knowing Sungji was on her way)

Just a possibility to think about and I'm not sure if someone has suggested this already but since Seju knows Sumin so well as others have pointed out, then wouldn't she also know about Sumins low alcohol tolerance? So how can we be sure her first plan didn't involve alcohol? Edit: not entirely convinced of this viewpoint myself BTW just keeping an open mind.

.Oh and if people are wanting a discussion on my viewpoint my replies may take a while since i'm not as active on this thread as some people are. Plus I'm a little slow.

Lollll, I hope I wont make you lose all your money, loool. But I like Seju most so aside from the bet, the most important thing to me would be a happy ending for her :). I'm still very doubtful about this explaination for the pretending sentence, Nora so dont be too sure, you might be wrong later on.

Oh, btw, about this sentence, since you post about some other forum's post, even in English, this sentence is already out of context for the conversation and in Korean, its even wayyyyy weirder than you could possibly think. The verb 'win' is the weirdest, since if Sungji wants Seju to pretend not to fight so much and just go home, this is not the right verb in the situation. So better wait for the official translation, we might understand it better.

And Nora, I've check the raw ver of chap 55, no, Sungji didnt use the same verb, the word Sungji used in chap 55 has more of the meaning "reconization", aka to make her open her heart kinda thing, the translation used a beautful ver of translating. Chap 55 its "인지", this chap is '이긴', this chap the word is literally meant winning. So you should really wait for next chap to see what is really going on.

because of the original translation of ch55, I've always got the vibe that Sungji was in fact taking it as a challenge, specially her last sentence: things aren't going to end the way you wanted it to, now it's different, hence, the verb win in that chapter felt natural to the situation. But, yes, it wasn't a literal translation.. I must hold back on this one.
