I wonder which past do they refer to when they said "veiled most of the time" and whether it will be so significant to the final drama or ending

There isn't much left to hide about Sumin and Seju i feel, unless what i said in an earlier comment about Seju's weakness is true.

Sungji on the other hand could have more to hide.

There's still Seju's mom's suspicious suicide that can be connected to the assassin that was hired to kill Seju now.

Sumin's tattoo story isn't fully revealed yet either, I think.

I'm not sure if there's any time to show anything from Sungji's past.

you know, Seju's laughter was something, I had three possible explanation for it:

1- Seju finds it funny that Sungji sympathies with her and allowed her to stay when in fact Seju knows that Sungji can't kick her out (the house is still Seju's and she knows that Sungji knows it), only thing Sungji can do is to keep Sumin out of the dilemma, so Seju and Sumin will avoid unnecessary situation.

2- Seju might be laughing at Sumin's loss of control, that Seju has to ask Sungji " a kid" whether she can stay in Sumin's house, she laughed too in ch77 when Sumin was in a very silly position.
......
3- it might be a laughter out of pitying someone's self.. (I can't get the right word in english, I hope you get me in this one)
but I mean the feeling when someone is broken somehow and they get sad on how their situation turned to be., the laughter is out of sadness rather than a genuine one.

mah.. I am not sure.

Number 3 seems to be the most accurate IMO.

And number 3 is the least accurate imo xDDDDDD.

That's what I focus on, honestly =)))), Sumin's reaction =)))))). Cause am I the only person who think that the first thing should come out from Sumin is "why do you feel it funny?"? Cause a normal person never find those thing funny @@, how can first time receiving sympathy from the person you love funny? I focus more on the situation there =)))), but well, I wont be too into it since maybe that's just me :)

I checked it, the art is beautiful, my only issue is the school setting..

I imagined the spin-off, I just wish there will be no darlingggg going on.. maybe 3 cats.. what if Seju's father made it to the spin off hehehehe !

if he does die, then Seju brothers will not be satisfied by only bullying her + they will find out about his generosity towards Sumin.. his death might keep the grim reaper busy!
even if Sumin then finally decides to go to the States with Seju without solving their issues, the whole story would be meaningless.

I feel that if he dies, Seju will be forced to run to the USA for sure. He's like the only thing protecting her from her stupid brothers and I bet one of them killed her mom already, but it was all covered (her dad probably knows). It's one of the ways to get rid of Seju in the story, sure, but it wouldn't solve anything in my eyes.

She cares for his father, even though she hates him for whatever he has done in the past the past that we dont get to know, she still sees him as her father and her family, her only family. I believe his death would affect Seju a lot and I wanna see how badly it will affect her and how Sumin reacts to it,, so his death would affect their relationship, and indirectly affect SuminxSungji's relationship. I think :)

As of now, Seju is still alive is all thanks to her father, if not for him, she might be dead long ago =)))), for example: that attack, so when he's gone and Seju doesnt want to move to the States like he suggested, if he left her a big fortune, her life would be in great danger :), they'll want to get rid of her for good to take that money =)))))

Plus, to me, an ending without freeing Seju from her family is quite off :), an ending where her father is still alive and she's still tied to her family with abusing brothers and sister-in-laws is quite tragic for Seju. So to me, first step of freeing from her family would be losing the only person that ties her to her family and that is her father.

She's not a burden, she's just a part of the love triangle that has to be solved at the end and everything looks like she won't get Sumin so she has to either let go of her or be forced to let go. I'm not sure if she can let go just like that. I'm afraid forced to let go is more probable case scenario so I'd at least want it to make sense and actually solve Sumin&Seju issues. I really don't want them to part their ways without being honest to each other.

I'm not sure if it'd tighten their relationship tbh. Not after so many years and it's not like Sumin can forget about Sungji just like that. She's head over heels for her for quite some time. It'd be very unrealistic to make those feelings disappear in a blink of an eye.

Although I agree Seju has to be freed from her abusive fam.

I disagree, Seju is going for all of Sumin, she started the 3rd Arc with: "I'm going to get you back",
last chapter she said clearly to Sungi: " how can you say it is a joke?, you know I'm not the type of person to play fair"
again this chapter, she was quite hurt by the scarf thing.
the before the cheating Seju is different from now, she used to think that Sumin hates her and comes back for sex, but this is not the case any more. she now knows that Sumin loves her + cares for her as we go more with this story. I only expect Seju to be even more motivated to have Sumin all back and in a monogamous relationship.

I'm kind of lost here. Why is Seju be safe because of her father? She couldn't be sent to the hospital, she couldn't tell the police about her being attacked either because she had to avoid shocking her father to death, right? If her father had passed away, wouldn't Seju's life be safer?
