IMO it isn't wrong. But that's just my moral compass.

There are tons of girls on this site too, including me, so don't feel alone or weird or whatever shit. (Although, I think we're mostly lesbians, so if you don't identify as that... YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST LEAVE. THE ONLY PEOPLE ALOWED HERE ARE STRAIGHT GUYS AND GAY GIRLS. NO ROOM FOR DIVERSITY.)

joking, joking

I'm a girl, and I'm scanlating this stuff; I think it is perfectly fine. I also have a straight female friend who likes at least some of these titles.

On the cover of Comic High magazine. (The one Girl Friends appeared in.) I don't think it should be embarrassing at all, but then I am a lesbian, not a het guy.

I'm a yuri fangirl here! But then again, it's probably natural to be attracted to forms of media that portray your sexuality when looking for romance? That's my guess.

thanks, i remembered right then,

but now i have a doubt:
i'm out topic here, or i'm the only man who have the bravery to answer this 3d and come out as a yuri-fan?

i don't know if i have to feel lonely, or a pervert...,

p.s. : but i know the many many people who uses the web only for youporn and facebook aren't better than me

I love reading yuri and I'm a writer of yuri fanfictions and I think this is one way of showing how free we can be. I mean you have the right to do, read or watch anything you want as long as you're not offending anyone. Besides, people are learning to be more open-minded so don't worry because nothing is wrong. So, keep calm and love YURI. xD

Eh? Are you serious?
I have absolutely no reason to doubt that most of dynasty-reader audience is yuri-fans, and at least half of them are male.
In fact, isn't "boys like lesbians, girls like gays" thing so common that can be called a cliche?

On the other hand, I'd say straight yuri fangirls and straight yaoi fanboys would find it hard to tell someone about their hobby.

Absolutely! Hit the nail on the head there, FoxPaw.

Honestly, early on the bandwagon I expected the audience to be comprised of mostly females, but then--nope. It's a pretty diverse population of people. Not that I don't mind.

Guy here, yuri-fan since I made this account, and went into a yuri-obsessed frenzy reading everything with tags that might interest me... Read it all...

Simple math for me:

male + female
0 + 1 = 1

female + female
1 + 1 = ∞

This is where I come to relax, like to read/watch peaceful sweet stuff in my relax time.

Also, for some reason my brain automatically goes to the "new-to-the-internet belief" that users with female characters in their avatar (or usernames alone) are female users. On this site in particular I keep feeling alone as a guy, then I look at my own avatar and think: "I don't even have myself as company here..."

I'm definitely a yuri-fangirl. I somehow caught strawberry panic on tv in 2006 and discovered that there was actually a genre for it.

But then again, it's probably natural to be attracted to forms of media that portray your sexuality when looking for romance?

Completely accurate, that's exactly why I prefer yuri manga. Even yuri manga that are awful are better than an average het manga. Why? Because it's so much nicer to read cute romance that you can relate to. Romance as a genre draws a lot of readers because of the ability to imagine your ideal relationships, among many other reasons.

There is also idolatry of worthy characters. "I'd date someone like that." "She's so sexy." etc. I can't really feel that way about heterosexual or gay romances because I simply can't see what they find attractive in the other characters. "Why is that guy attractive? He's a total douche." "I don't see what's so sexy/cute about that masculine action." "It would be nice if the MC just dated her best friend. She's way cuter."

I'm a little embarrassed to admit it publicly though. I don't much fit the image of what one would think the average anime fan falls under, and the general impression of yuri is usually porn. I keep my inner fangirl locked away.

Im a guy too lucamarte and I don't think it's strange to be a yuri fan, I love how the love is represented, particularly when it's from a woman point of view ( I simply adore Morinaga Milk stories), because there are details, atmosphere and a great way to represent sentiments II don't find in other romantic stories, and I couldn't care less if the others find it strange or worse. ;)

Well, it has been a while since I last visited le forums. I'm just really spamming the comments at how cute the characters are and how cute the kisses are. It is just one way for me to express my "undying rage"-ing for how moe it is and shit like that.

I have no idea of what my sexuality is but even though I'm a girl, I like girls? I really don't know so I keep my distance. Parents are religious so its scary. And well, they really look down upon tomboys and shit like that so yeah, I just ignore comments about those and just go on with my internet life.

Straying away from the depressing stuff, Yeah, I am a girl that excessively loves Yuri! I also write fanfics but I suck at romance though I am trying to better myself at that. What else... Hmmm... Well, I fangirled a lot from the opening of Sakura Trick and I can't handle the moeness that I exited the tab within 9 minutes.

I'm really missing out on a lot of Yuri...
