Why is Kotori Nico Nico Nii~ing?

Nico's gesture has the thumb out, as in the ASL "I love you" sign. You can see Kotori's thumb is in, I've seen other doujin do that as miming a fox face. Not sure if that's what she's actually doing aside from being cute though.

I sometimes wonder if there's this Touhou crack pair generator and these artists are just drawing whatever shows up. Still this is nice.

coincidentally, i'm currently playing this game. i'm loving the art, voice and story.

I mean, as far as crack Touhou pairings go, this isn't that far-fetched - they have at least interacted in canon, which is more than one can say for some other crack Touhou pairings.

Nonetheless, I kinda like Tama's portrayal of the pairing. Their other pictures of Sanae x Doremy have Sanae being doggedly persistent in her affections for Doremy. On the other hand, Doremy is a bit weirded out but will sometimes show her dere side towards Sanae, which is nice.

Can't wait for that summer book.
