Ce qui peut me trahir, c'est un oubli grammatical ou l'utilisation de mots assez peu utilisés couramment en français qui sont quasi-transparents mais qui sont encore moins utilisés en anglais. I like it a lot^^ Always used to have a thing for it, even back when I was studying German at schools. Since my mother tongue is a Slavic language as well (although western Slavic), I get a bit more of vocabulary thrown into the mix as well. I remember having learnt the Russian alphabet 3 years before actually getting to know any of the language. To this day I enjoy using it a lot!

My mother is also a Russophyle, and so we speak sometimes Russian at home at times as well.. friends that come over to my house are pretty weirded out by that actually.. still, unfortunately my Russian knowledge is nowhere where I want it to be.

It's also really fun to use a language near people that don't udnerstand it very well xP

Yeah, I probably wrote the concerned post carelessly. Although some english words (taken from french) end by "que", grotesque being a good example.

Le français est probablement une des langues les plus- si non la plus - dures, il n'y a aucune honte à avoir à faire des exercices dits basiques, you'd be surprised to know the amount of french who often make mistakes. It's nearly impossible, even for a french, to perfectly master it, given its difficulty.
Gosse est très couramment utilisé, c'est un équivalent courant / familier de "child", ou de "brat" selon le contexte, le dernier étant péjoratif.

I allowed myself to correct the few mistakes you made, if it bothers you I'll refrain in the future. A part une petite erreur sur l'emploi d'un temps et une mauvaise utilisation de "que", rien de méchant. Honnêtement je suis surpris que tu parles aussi bien, étant donné que le français est ta troisième langue. Your mandarin must be excellent.

So it got me wondering everyone what's your favourite takeout (or home cooked) meal? I'm jus really curiouse what people like to eat across the world ahah ^//w//^

I'd have to go with the style of cuisine here in the US we call Southern Cooking. Its sort of a catch-all for lots of southeastern US dishes (which often overlaps with Soul Food). Things like Fried Chicken, Collard Greens/Turnip Greens/Mustard Greens, Black-eyed Peas, Grits (especially Cheese Grits with Freshwater Catfish or almost any freshwater fish), Country Fried Steak (specifically, simmer-fried in a cast-iron skillet which is VERY different from what is often a Texas dish of the same name that is "Chicken Fried", as in deep fried), Tomato Sandwiches and most important of all Barbecue (specifically, sliced pork & beef, but also ribs).

Oops, missed your post. I did like Inception and Interstellar, you should give those a second chance.
I was talking about ah-ga-ssi; Mulholland Drive has to be re-watched, and not just one time. But if I start to discuss about it, I won't be able to stop myself.

On a side note, I finished reading Memoirs from The House of the Dead; and if Dostoïevsky was already my favorite russian author, it surpassed the already excellent Crime and Punishement IMHO.

@Utopia The House of the Dead was pretty good, liked it better than Crime and Punishment as well. From all of Dostoevsky I'd say that I only didn't like The Idiot that much - its writing was really inconsistent. If you think that Crime and Punishment has a good psychological portrayal, I'd say The Gambler is even better. Brothers Karamazov is a must mention as well.

As the saying goes where I grew up "Born in America, Southern by the Grace of God" (which is kinda snobbish in that regionalism way that many Americans are guilty of to this day). As for Grits, there is only one way to eat them in the South: with pepper, salt and butter. Any other way (like covered in cinnamon & sugar) is considered blasphemy! ~_^

If anyone was wondering where I went, I dozed off again (lol)...and had yet another odd dream. From what I could remember,

I was with another girl traversing around a map trying to search for "flower portals" -pretty trippy things, they start off a slime-green ooze forming the flower then the real color; red, yellow, pink, violet or white pours out from the middle and then the scenary changes-, the last portal, the white flower, seemingly transport me back into the start of a dungeon, I got mad and vaguely recall yelling at the other girl, "Now we're back in this nightmare". As I desperately tried to navigate across the map as fast as I could, I ended up tripping and started falling, only to be saved by someone; an event that apparently was how my initial journey in this dungeon started...

For the record I am not making this up, I really did just dreamt that.

And huh, looks like everyone went to bed (lol), back to watching the Overlord Dub I guess.
