Ain't nothing wrong with that X) hmmm futanari (like ir or not) is based on yuri most of the times so either you like it or not as a genre in yuri, I know of a hardcore yuri fan who wouldn't give a chance to any history with a futa no matter how sweet or romantic, but in my case I love it... Most of the times (it can get really silly or gross).

But maybe when you said "people who like yuri" you meant something else beside a relationship between women.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, yuri is much more romantic than typical futanari. And I say this as someone who likes (some) futanari. Most futa I read is basically hentai, with an emphasis on fluids and multiple orgasms for both parties and lots of screaming, etc.

There have been a few futa comics I've seen recently that were much more romantic and cuddly than usual, with less fluids and less screaming, and I really enjoyed those. There are only a small handful of futa I like. Happy Cherry 2 of course, where it's more a magical dildo. True, most futa I've run across (not that I'm really looking for it) tends to be very dick-focused. Which is why something like Passionate Gaze makes me really happy.

One of the major draws of futanari (if you want to call it that) is men's relatability with having a penis and the dichotomy of it being on a woman's body. It's already an inherently sexual idea that focuses on the genitalia of the person. Futanari without sex might as well be yuri and there would be no need to discuss the persons genitals. Hell, as long as their clothes stay on, you could imagine every girl in yuri is a futa.

The reason why yaoi doesn't have males with both sets of genitals is that men already have an asshole and prostate, best of both worlds for penetrating or being penetrated. And much like with yuri, it has no need to be sexual since it doesn't have to focus on what's between the legs and allows for purely romantic situations.
