Haha Girama-chan, i only tried watching the very first episodes... And for me it was kinda boring...'cuz they were like always going to transform to perform and it took sooo much TIME, i got tired of it... I think it's very very very gurly and maybe more suited for kidz...? XD ANYWAYS, JUST MY OPINION!

^ i totally agree, it kinda was like pretty cure just without the TOO MUCH magical girl stuff and y'know, it's more about friendship, love etc. the usual from such genres...after a while it's getting just boring and it's really tiring to get through the last episodes.For some people it's totally suited, but i didn't really liked it that much.Buuut who knows? If you're interested, you should give it a shot and watch it.Maybe that's totally your thing, you'll never know.

Well since none of the Aikatsu fans have commented on this I might as well respond give a short answer: I can recommend the anime unless you dislike idol stuff, it's mainly slice of life stuff with a lot of subtle (and not so subtle) subtext thrown around, there's a lot of singing and dancing, and there's the dramas which are pretty fun. The only parts I found kinda meh where in late S1 and early S2, I enjoyed everything else. Oh and the animation improved quite a bit since the first few eps.
And the transformations are totally skippable you know? just a few seconds.
