from TG review, I get that Seju wanted Sungji to end things off waaaay before it reached the point in season 2 finale. This contradicts with the idea that Seju wanted Sungji to be with Sumin because she doesn't give up (TG said that Seju assumed Sungji would)
again what Seju did by throwing the ring to Sungji assuming still that Sungji would break things off also tells me that Seju did want to end this plan way back.

in ch60, as Sumin asks Seju to pursue with her resignation, Seju smirked, which could mean that she knew that things ended between Sumin and Sungji (as Sumin wanted to hold the resignation off only so she could see Sungji)

Seju did want to end things from ch27.. why do you think she is still considering it a plan rather than things going out of her control ?

the rings were there from the beginning.. and from the beginning this scene was planned in ch27. (only the sssh part you don't see them)

Putting it on hold just signifies that Sungji was getting results. The main point in here is that Sumin can love somebody more than she loves Seju.The greater she suffers, the greater the love she gave. To the point, she will not blame Seju anymore and maybe finally forgive her.

Sumin being able to love Sungji more than Seju is mainly thanks to her guilt of cheating on Sungji. This guilt has made Sungji different from her typical exes.
The greater she suffers, the more unreasonable jerk she becomes.
She stoped blaming Seju cuz she has grown up a bit.
She could finally forgive Seju cuz she does not suffer anymore imo.

Her words were honest and she was hurt by the idea of Sumin getting away from her. next day at the elevator, she told Sumin that she throw the resignation letter > she didn't want Sumin to resign really.

ch65, obviously Seju wanted to start over < do you think that if Sumin agreed, they would have preceded with the father's plan immediately ?

If getting Sumin off her back to protect her is the plan, then it is even riskier that Seju stayed with her after the assault.

Since, I've said Sumin was not supposed to be there. She was expecting Sumin at her house not in the office. Please refer to chap. 54 phone conversation.

this would have been possible if Seju didn't already prepare the office, drinks and all. I read the phone call, original translation.. I couldn't get where she implied going to Seju's house.

Seju built the company for Sumin. If my trajectory is right, she was leaving the company. Away from Sumin to protect her.

Honestly, If it was real life, i would really think that Sungji & Dawoon would have a romantic relationship of some sort; as they have a special bond since they knew each other for a long time & had beautiful memories. Also, Dawoon is gentle & more respectful to Sungji. She really knows how to communicate with her. Something that Sumin could never do, not ever with the person she love the most for yeaaaars "Seju".

However, in my opinion, Nami don't stand a chance with Sungji O_o as she's is pushy, persistent & very obvious about her interest in her. Given Sungji's personality , this is not appealing, too boring. Notice that Sungji never showed a slight interest in Nami until now even when she was heart broken after Sumin cheated on her but showed that interest in Dawoon & kissed her back.
