Seju then sees Choi at a party with her fiance and over hears her talking on the phone to Sumin.
she already knew they dated, it was a coincidence to attend the party.
She still is the only one we know who saw the redhead with a fiance.
Seju is then there to comfort Sumin. ( Of course Sumin could have called her but showing Seju there in that particular moment is important)
do you know that Sumin went to SEJU's house, it is quite hard to miss that one !
Doesn't change anything.
When Seju and Choi(?) go back to Sumins, Seju is in her car watching them.
have you noticed that Sumin saw the car FIRST ( a black aventador is really hard to miss), then she asked the redhead politely to go, but then changed her mind. clearly very clearly she was supposed to meet Seju for whatever reason then but ignored her.. same situation ch44 (one chapter ahead) - not spying no, Summin saw the car, hesitated, then decided to go in with the redhead) ... ch44 same circumstances, very clearly Sumin was expecting Seju, then changed her mind
You don't know that. Seju could've been simply stalking Sumin.
Seju then sees Choi at a party with her fiance and over hears her talking on the phone to Sumin.
Seju says in her flashback. "Coincidence or not" this implies that it's not always coincidental. Also she says this twice which makes me think they are playing particular attention to the phrasewow, so now there are implications
More like a hinted confirmation.
The whole speech about Sumin suffering along with this whole particular chapter.
it means that Sumin would not come to Seju unless she is suffering and hurt. does Seju wish that, yes to see Sumin not necessarily to HURT her herself
Yhm, wanting to be hated by her contradicts it.
Seju is not an angel and her love for Sumin isn't healthy to both of them.
Sumin isn't an angel either and her love to Seju changed IMO. They aren't close anymore, even Seju admitted that by answering Sungji when she asked if they're friends now. Seju said -friend. Single person.
Sungji was created for a reason. With her, at least Sumin can get healed and since she's the protagonist of this story, we can end up with Seju not getting any of it. I'm actually starting to be afraid she won't get a happy ending, which would suck, because she deserves to be happy too. What I can't see for sure is Sumin being good for her and there's more than just me seeing their relationship as toxic. Sumin is Seju's drug. And drugs are bad. She can't be truly happy with her, because she wants Sumin to hate her. And if she won't be able to let go, she'll never be happy without her either. Right now, I can't see her letting go. Unless something really bad happens which will force her to let go to keep Sumin safe.

Sumin would talk to the redhead and end things instead of getting beaten up and then ending things. Isn't it different?
After being beaten up, we saw Sumin asking if redhead could fix things, which implied that she really was in love with redhead, and had not gotten over redhead yet even after she got beaten up. Therefore, I don't think Sumin could just talked to redhead and move on easily like you said. I mean she was still not move on from redhead after being beaten up by her fiance, how could she easily move on with nothing happened?
Wanting someone to suffer and getting that person back by wanting bad things isn't healthy at all. If she was the one who told the fiance (and I believe she was), it was crossing the line.
Is there a healthy way to get Sumin back? I never said that she was an angelic person who wouldn't cross the line. Speaking of which, why hasn't she secretly hired an assassin to hurt or murder Sungji yet? If you did cross the line without regreting your actions, you sure wouldn't be hesitate tin crossing it again.
Sumin wanted revenge for Seju betraying her, it's also understandable. She chose the wrong way, breaking up would've been enough.
I don't think she wanted to get revenge for Seju betraying her. I remember what she did after broke up with Seju was that she sold her house and left Seju. That's all. She started her revenge on Seju after she was hurt by moleguy. So, imo, she did the revenge on Seju for what moleguy has done to her. Which was not understandable at all.
Ah, sometimes I'm really glad I can use the Internet as much as I want at work. As long as the work is done :)

But she would've talked to the redhead instead of facing that bastard.

No, there's not. That's why I find it so impossible for them ending up together.
If Sungji got hurt or killed, Seju would've lost Sumin forever. I think she'd lose her even if Sungji broken up with her. We've seen a glimpse of it after Sungji did break up with her for a while. Sumin closed herself, wasn't responsive like she used to be before.

She couldn't go to the police and didn't Seju tell her she'll take the blame on herself? Sumin's mind was f*ed up pretty badly, she simply started to blame the wrong person, but Seju's cheating had to be a part of it because Sumin used a very specific way to make her suffer.

you know, Saehyun is really something, he told Sumin at the hospital in ch59, that the compensation was not the money, but that she was given a chance to take revenge on Seju. what did he mean ?
that part drives me crazy!.. did he know about the bartender thing at all ?.. or there is something we don't know yet
or did I miss something ?

I think he's playing his own game with both of them. I don't know why, but I've got a jealous vibe from him when he talked to Sumin after he scarred her...

Who knows if she would have talked to the redhead instead of facing redhead's fiance or not? Do you happen to know why redhead's fiance didn't dump redhead instead of hurting Sumin? or why he didn't talk to redhead instead of facing Sumin?

No, there's not. That's why I could understand why Seju had to choose that unhealthy way; it's the only option.
If Sungji got hurt or killed, Seju would've lost Sumin forever.
Are you saying if Sungji didn't get hurt or killed, Seju would have only lost Sumin temporarily?
I think she'd lose her even if Sungji broken up with her. We've seen a glimpse of it after Sungji did break up with her for a while. Sumin closed herself, wasn't responsive like she used to be before.
A probability of Sumin coming back to her would be higher if Sungji's gone, right?

I believe he would never ever hurt Seju.

He meant exactly what he said. But I believe his real intention is to give Seju a chance to be with Sumin again. I think he had learned that it hurt Seju more to live without Sumin, more than living with Sumin and being hurt by her. So, he scarred Sumin.
that part drives me crazy!.. did he know about the bartender thing at all ?.. or there is something we don't know yet

I believe he knows everything related to Seju.

Wow, I need to get used to waking up to 2 pages of discussing and dont have time to read it =)))).

I agree with you, but what revenge did he gave Sumin a chance to take?..

Being by Seju's side and hurt her. But like I said, he didn't do it for Sumin's sake. It's all for Seju's.

Nah, I already skipped it last time, well, this time I might also do that, cause I find sia ue's opinions are way too strong than the other :)))))). sia ue might not comment much but her opinions are very on point :))))).

This above comment will either make my comments called out more often, or completely ignored by others. :'D

By the other, I mean lzz XD, not all of us here xDDDDDDD. But I hope it wont be ignored =))))), at least it wont for me, even though sometimes your comments are too short, making it hard to understand your stand on one matter of the story =))))), but you do have strong opinions on this story xD, I mean it.

I got the impression that you are good at scientific subjects more

Btw, Nora, I read your totally-black comment a few pages ago =))))).
Nora, it's easy to point out weak spots of SungjixSumin's relationship, I didnt say it's not easy to break, but I just take the fact that its only 6 chaps left xD. Remember Sumin is still the person who decides who to stay with her and I don't think 6 chaps are enough to make a now-very-determined Sumin to change her mind about Seju or breaking up with Sungji. Even if Sungji does leave in the end, to make Sumin come back to Seju needs a lot of work, we can surely imagine Sungji move on but it doesnt mean Sumin will come back with Seju right away =)))))), it needs a life-changing event to the very least xD.
That's why I'm excited, cause, at this point, it's very very hard to have a SuminxSeju ending, not because they're impossible but because there is not many chaps left, so to be able to have that ending, it will require a hella awesome plot twist and I'm thrilled to know the progress of it if there will be an ending like that, but I really doubt there would be like that so well...

Plus, writing down an ending with SuminxSeju without making Sumin the biggest jerk of the century is super hard, almost impossible in 6 chaps xD

^
the life changing thing can be pulled easily, many many options:
the assassin, Seju's father death, Sumin realising a new fact (or Sungji) and others more.
but to be honest, I never imagined that we will reach where we are when we were in ch73.
(the fully blacked text.. hehehe I was hiding my ideas :P)

if it happened from Sungji's side for whatever reason, Sumin won't be at fault (I hope she keeps her pants on till then)
....
anyways, I've already prepared a comment in case it ended SuminX Seju
...
the ending will be WTFJH!

dependant on HOW and WHY Sungji leaves, our whole perspective of their relationship may change, but it will be unfolding some unclear things that we already saw hints of (TG love to do that.. like ch27 used again in ch54)

if not, I will write the comment you asked me XD and how I got mind blown
...
btw, ch54, ch55 and 56 contained at least 5 major surprises and a huge plot twist(s)
would the magic happen in 6 chapters ? definitely

since I'm at it, I will list some of the stuff I find no explanation for:
List of what I don't understand ?
1- the folder Seju had in ch71 (focused panels on)
2- the real reason Sumin hates Seju, (why does Saehyun see Sumin's scar as a way for Sumin to take revenge on Seju -she could'v done the sleeping around with or without the scarring -excluded reasoning- ) ✔︎
3- what is Saehyun relationship to both Ann Chahee and Seju (the reason he cares much about Seju)
4- the father's will, it seems that Sumin has received a big chunk of that (the family's reaction)
5- did Sumin reject the father's final wish? if not yet, then what is she going to do about that?
6- what is it in ch53 that the author want's us to know besides Sungji forgetting the ring ?
7- what happened to Sungji and Sumin rings, btw ?
8- why did Seju insist on meeting female applicants only for the TL position but then Sungji said it is a HE (did Sungji mistake her for a he.. or Seju changed her mind) ✘
9- what does the assassin know about the private life of a chaepol, Seju was not dating during the time we first saw the assassin, actually did she mean something about the Baek's that Seju does not know ?
10- TG said that Sumin and Seju met at a party for children of a similar background, how similar is it ? does that has to do with her parents death ?
.....
something just came up, now Saehyun arrival date was 8/10 (October) <- ch35
actual arrival is in ch44, all later incidents happened after the 8th of October till now, including 1 week that Sumin spent in Japan and her week back that we are still in, she arrived some Saturday and now we are exactly in the next Saturday.
we are going to have Seju's birthday soon awww XD [ it is 2.Nov baby scorpio]
could it be the party that Sumin and Seju first met at ? XD

8- Sungji said it is a HE (did Sungji mistake her for a he.. or Seju changed her mind) .
Possible translation error. Someone on /u/ claims that a gender wasn't mentioned and Sungji used the equivalent of "they". We'll know more once the official translation comes out. : )
