PC.

Nothing against Mac, since this long-run debate has an absolutely baffling amount hate in it, but the programs I want to use simply don't run on it.

Mac. Same reasons as everyone else: The programs I use run better on mac and I like how they run.

pc. less restriction and i can run the programs i want to.
by less restriction i just mean that apple seems to despise programing that isn't theirs (or so i have heard)

PC ... less expensive, I know the PC better, Macs freeze too(I saw one frozen in Costco right after I had been told they don't freeze like PCs do LoL), I can run Linux or Windows on a PC. there is more but the expense is about the biggest issue w/ me right now.

I don't really like one over the other... I prefer to use my MacBook most of the time, but some things are better done on a PC..

PCs are for enthusiast. The skies the limit because you can build and customise it anyway you like.

Macs are for 16-year-old-girls to brag about how expensive, shiny and small it is. I think apples the only product where the product owns you when you buy it.

I wonder how opinion has changed now. What laptop do you have?

I will never buy an Apple product. It's the Calvin Klein of the technology world: ludicrous and insulting. When I was in college, everyone claimed that you couldn't do any sort of professional audio or visual work involving computers without a Mac, and I was always dubious of that claim. Now, with the advances in computing, and the availability of creator software on PC, I'm pretty sure it is and has always been pure bullshit started by Apple itself.

TL;DR - PC Master Race.

^ Didn't Apple once try to sell branded computer stands for $1000 a piece?

They've elevated peddling horseshit into an art form.

I can remember when Apple were portraying themselves as the "little guy" standing up to the big bad corporate giant that was IBM. How times change.
