Look up "gyaru" for a more full explanation, but it basically refers to the highly fashion conscious, heavily made-up sort of girls, often with dyed hair. It's a very glam sort of street fashion among high school girls mostly.

For me it's kinda opposite, I used to like this so much back then. Now it's..well not that I don't like it, its just not as yuri as I once thought..oh well it still makes me smile so
