I think new addition has some potential, especially because she's interested in Shun. She always felt kinda of alone and disconnected, in contrast to Natsuki who has a lot of contact. So it feels like an opportunity for character growth on her side.

It's also an interesting twist to have a love rival who's aware of the relationship, although of course she's not going to have a lot of friends among the readers with a move like that. But yeah, for me, that's the kind of character with vibes that say "she needs a hug, and someone to show her a better path to follow in life".

Just started this series while looking for Height Gap tags and this is amazing it reminds me of Bloom into You with how fast the pace was absolutely adore this

I really wanna see Hinata's dual hair colour if only I could read this in colour :sigh:

This echoes some (admittedly brief) discussion I remember having with a friend on Discord (not on the Dynasty server this time tho). With her saying the series is too trope-y for her, and me saying it often subverts those same tropes it employs. Now, admittedly, when she asked for examples, I kindof blanked because I only vaguely remembered, but then remembered my favourite example - all of us thinking the girl that was sending Shun threats was a romantic rival, but it turned out - "oh, no, she's just a himejoshi who supported the non-canon ship a bit too zealously"
