I'll never understand people who play MMOs on console.

I never really noticed the controller until now. I thought MMOs on the console were a jokes that died with Final Fantasy XI (I actually know of no others). Granted I don't play many games myself anymore (only a handful of GOG games, plus some DOS, and occasionally an English-patched Touhou game).

I actually play Final Fantasy 14 on the PS4.

The PC gaming industry and audience in Japan is very anemic. If MMOs want to sell in Japan, they pretty much have to be on consoles.

It's probably modeled after MOHA anyway.

Also, we can't expect Her Mochiness to divert attention away from researching the greatness of Yuri for something minor like "should MMOs be played on a PC?" There's more important matters that require Her attention.

Do you find it hard to interact with other people? I would think the lack of a keyboard would make planning for bosses really difficult.

Not really, I just plug a USB keyboard into the PS4 system and talk normally. I play with a controller, and talk with a keyboard.
It's pretty normal for console MMO players, at least with FFXIV anyways.
