Feel free to post your thoughts and/or suggestions.

First 12 or so posts are relating to this previous question:

Because we sure as hell don't know where we want it to go.
And before someone goes "Include everything!" ...No.
We're not going to become general readers like... well you know their names.
We've considered throwing in a minor category system, but we don't want to become DATABASE-SCANS, Mangaupdates is doing a damn fine job of being a database already.

Which is now obsolete.

Instead, I will now mark new stuff we're doing on the reader (or to mark corrections) rather than just shoving it on the top of the reader page in the news area that no one probably reads (although people barely read the forums too, BUT OH WELL).

Also keep note that for ALL groups other than us and Lililicious (since they decided to upload their own stuff themselves, and they do it pretty much ASAP), I have a 24-hour policy on uploads. That means that a release will not be put on the reader until at least 24 hours have passed since the release was released. Please visit the group/groups who worked on the release if you want to read things a day earlier :)
Other staff are welcome and probably will upload things on the day of release (except for Payapaya) if they choose to do so, I will continue with my lagged release system.

Some time before May 07, 2011: Horobi no Michi's permission gained (along with 4dawgz's for Love Pheremone No. 5). Harawa working on an Android application (that will be hosted on our site, not the Android market) for the reader. He would work on an iPhone version, but he does not have an iPhone or Macbook to make one on. However, if someone else with the required materials and knowledge would like to make one, he'd gladly let his code be shared for reference.
May 07, 2011: New section to be added to the reader, regarding favorites/read/unread/to be read that will be forum-account linked, currently in discussion.
May 09, 2011: Updated reader with 3 Vexed releases that I totally wasn't keeping up on. Good thing there aren't THAT many groups I gotta keep extra tabs on. And surprise, surprise, a little yuri.
Also, the reading list thing [beta] has been implemented, you can currently view series/one-shots that you marked as "read" and/or unread by clicking "Reading Lists" in the upper-right of the reader page.
May 12, 2011: Uploaded various stuff, mostly from Horobi no Michi.
May 14, 2011: Finished uploading all things from Horobi no Michi (with the exception of a couple of chapters or so because they were in the middle of nowhere and went nowhere after that).
May 16, 2011: Corrected a glaring error a recently uploaded Touhou doujin. Title was "An Old Promise" and it came from Collections of Twinkle Stars. It was erroneously named "Collections of Twinkle Stars" by yours truly.
May 24, 2011: Added two missing Yandere Kanojo releases. Added title names, where available, to the Yandere Kanojo series as well.
May 31, 2011: The android app is progressing well. Adding K-ON! which will be finished soon.
July 02, 2011: Whoops, a month without updates. Nothing much really happened. Occasional late uploads (particularly with XLG >>) but otherwise nothing really notable. Idol Pretender is a series rather than a oneshot though, for those gender bender lovers out there.
July 14, 2011: Permission gained from Yuribou for all releases. Will upload little by little. Expect trolling from some of what is uploaded :]
July 15, 2011: Uploaded several things today to the reader, both new and semi-old.
July 16, 2011: Project TAG EVERYTHING underway, heavily encouraged tagging of oneshots by staff is in progress. This is a prelude to a possible new system of filtering/sorting/recognition system via tags to help people avoid seeing/reading releases they may not have wanted to see (ie. the occasional het porn done by groups for whatever reason). Trolling uploads halted (for now?)
July 24, 2011: As one who's visited our reader regularly can see, we've implemented the ability to see tags on the most recent page. This is to prevent any accident when one does not recognize the seraies/oneshot and highly prefers not to see content they usually avoid.
August 7, 2011: Carat has ended in a fantabulous way. Also first Bakekano volume has finished and has been re-uploaded for entire volume revisions.
August 12, 2011: Planning to add a booru of sorts for dynasty. First I thought it was a joke, but apparently it's becoming an actuality to dump my pictures onto. Look forward to it.
August 20, 2011: dynastybooru is still in progress and early stages. Yomeiro Choice has been completed by Xamayon. Fully deserves the wtf
am_i_reading tag 100%
September 9, 2011: All reader related projects are still moving along, but at weird paces as you can tell (especially if you're waiting for them to come out). Yandere Kanojo had a minor change in the older chapters 3 and 4, namely that chapter 3 was replaced with the proper one and chapter 4 removed entirely due to mislabeling. This was an error on the scanlator's behalf and he instructed their removal.

September 23, 2011: Eternal Sisters volume 2 finally corrected (you can now download individual chapters rather than the entire volume for a single chapter). Added late Xamayon stuff and late Nanofate release.

And as an aside, thanks to omnscient0, ninina, and harawa (all IRC nicknames) for their contributions to making the reader you see today as awesome as it is now.

The reader system is great, actually better than most manga readers. I love the back/forward clicking on the images, since I don't have 5 buttons on my mouse. The reader got a nice and simple interface which is easy to use.

One thing that have been bugging me with most readers is the white background. It's a terrible strain on the eyes, after hours with delicious yuri my eyes are always bloody red. So I was thinking you guys could add some sort of "reader mode", where the background turns black and your only focused on the yuri. I've never seen something like that before and it would be really cool if you guys had it :)

Actually it is the best reader I have come across: it is fast, you can navigate with your arrows!!!!!!!! you can go back and forth with a click or as said arrow keys. It drives me nuts when I end up on the bigger sites and can't do stuff as easily as here.

I like the reader as it is, so please don't add everything. There are plenty of sites that do that already, besides the last thing this site needs is unproductive spam on the forums. I really like the fact that I don't have to click the page three or four times to go to the next page. As for a category system, I don't think that it would do much since every series under the sun isn't on here. Perhaps a rating system would be good though, or another way to see what others think, I'm just putting that out there so unless anyone thinks it's a good idea ignore it.
Thanks for your hard work.

Yeah, very much agreed on the reader being more than good enough and one of the best I have ever used already. Here are a couple tentative suggestions which occurred to me, though perhaps they're not already implemented due to technical limitations?

First: although the navigation for all the other categories is very complete and helpful, I recently noticed again that categorizations by scanlation group only show a 'recent' listing. This is probably most sensible seeing as the more prolific groups probably have several hundreds of entries, far more than any single author or series, but I was wondering if complete 'group' listings might be made somewhere available.

Second: the 'recently popular' list on the front page is a pretty nice feature, in terms of what sholum mentioned above, a method of seeing what others think. I agree that something a bit more permanent might be desireable, for example a historical 'most viewed manga' listing.

One small problem I have with the reader is that clicking on individual page numbers doesn't work, so you have to scroll through every single page to get to a specific one.

Clicking the page numbers on the left definitely does work. There must be some kind of issue on your end.

On Opera 11, the "Toggle Resize" button in fullscreen mode doesn't work.
(The reason seems to be that image.naturalWidth/Height is undefined.)

Is there anyway to go from Fullscreen back to normal view?

Will get someone to look into it.

There's a circled X button in the upper-right area of the page that will take you out of full-screen.

The individual page thing works in Chrome, but it didn't on IE. I guess that must have been the problem.

This should be fixed now. Thanks to the pointer to img.naturalHeight/Width, that was indeed the problem.

(For those with a high tl;dr threshold: IE defines clientWidth/Height on images, and does not define window.innerWidth/Height. It had special handling. Opera, unlike Firefox and Webkit, uses clientWidth/Height but does define innerWidth/Height instead of requiring the IE-specific hacks. It now has its own case.)

This is working for me in Internet Explorer 8. Which version wasn't working for you?

Thanks for the fix. I can now toggle between the scaled/unscaled page. :D

The only other nitpick I have is that on large pages, scrolling left and right won't work as they're tied to page navigation. However, I can just hold down any key in combination with l/r to scroll horizontally, so it's not really a problem.

Either way, I think the reader is excellent.

Minor update regarding how I slack on uploading recent things to the reader.

Is there any way you guys can stop backdating things when you add them to the reader? It makes it really hard to keep up with new releases, which can be frustrating as, in all other ways, your reader's pretty awesome.
