The first half of the last episode was really really good. But the timeskip left a lot of open holes and open endings that felt rushed and incomplete.

My hypothesis is that beause LecoReco has achieved such insane success (Hideo Kojima is definitely getting his Lycoris game) that the studio execs said to pull back on the ending.
What I think was supposed to happen was Majima was supposed to die from the fall, DA was supposed to recover all the guns instead of half and Takina and Chisato have their kiss on the beach before running off to Hawaii. However since the series is so successful they greenlit a sequel quickly and asked the crew to leave an open end for more material later.

Note: Getting the spoilers to work is confusing, apparently you have to make sure there are no spaces between the == and the actual text.

u dont get my point. also i don't comment for arguing. coz u just repeating what i said that yuri doesn't exist irl, only using ur own word. of course i can distinguish the fiction and rl, thats why i said "likely". u can read my guy? don't just get randomly insulted for no reason.

i have that thought because i already have watch some real life stories and they have that phase before they turn into les. for example, mostly they have het relationship before and coz of one of reasons i said before they turn into les. of course it dont have to be exact like this story, especially on the cheating part, which is why i said "likely" once again, u dummy. if u don't like i use my phrasing just use whatever words u like. ALSO, i dont say anything about lgbt coz i dont include male gay (or even male bi) and trans can have different reasons. u the one who bring that up.

one thing is that if u have experience that really opposite of what im saying, u can tell me something to proof me wrong. for example, if u born right away and become les, that way u can have a good argument if u real people yourself.

if u are a dude, than dont bother reply coz ur argument would not count, as i said before that i talked about likely yuri.

Here. A scientific article involving brain scans of homosexuals & heterosexuals showing neurological structure differences in the brain. If you understand the human brain in any capacity you'll understand from this that it's a hard coded neurological structure.

Knock it off with the gay choice thing. It's annoying and unscientific.

Before I submit the TL of chapter 17.5 to the TSer, I wanted to ask something regarding LGBTQ terminology. is "drag queen" an appropriate translation of オネエ in the context of p2? I'm aware it's a tough word to translate into something inoffensive.

In my opinion, and I believe that of most of the forum, the word is a-ok.
But dem moderators might have a problem with it on account of it not being pc enough. It's difficult these days to keep tag of what's correct and what's not, it's like every day the censors find some new term to condemn.

Being respectful and careful about terminology, especially on a website largely dedicated to media depicting homosexual relationships and with a not insignificant (if not majority, I don't know the demographics) number of LGBTQ+ readers, hardly seems like a stretch to me.

Apparently the dynasty team ran a survey a few years back. The results showed a roughly 1:1 ratio between men & women on the site, among those identifying as men over 80% identified as heterosexual while among those identifying as women roughly 90% adopted a non-heterosexual identity.

The stats have probably changed since then but I'd argue it's an approximately 50/50 split between heterosexual & non-heterosexual people. Honestly though it's probably beyond due for another survey.

I like data, it's fun.

I feel like this shouldn't have the love triangle tag. A poly tag would make more sense, even if we haven't seen the outcome yet that's clearly what they were going for.

Did I read it wrong, that Maki herself was an idol "five years ago"? If it is,there is no reason for her not to coach her gf.

She was referring to µ's (muse), their school idol group. Nico was her senior in that same group.

If she could help Nico with this at all, it would be by flexing her connections through her medical career & family business.

Nico should take up VTubing, it's got a lower barrier for entry and if handled right can lead to a larger market audience.

Or at least a stable one.

Too bad Nico is 17 and the series launched in 2010, Vtubing didn't take off till around 2020 which would make her 27. Other VTuber's are around this age range though so it's a bit of a delay but definitely not impossible.

There is another half to the quandry and that is if Akane doesnt register Nadeshiko then she is stealable. And having another person register would at worst be like abduktion and brainwashing and at best being forcefully married to a stranger

I mean that's just one worm in the huge can that is the entire problematic of sentient machines as property.

I honestly don't see this really happening in our reality because of 3 reasons; human rights law, manufacturing & economics. Robots are complicated & expensive, especially humanoid android (the human face alone can have upto 30 muscles depending on how they're counted). To make a humanoid robot would require a lot of money, resources & programming to get these devices up & running. Technologically it's very possible but economically it would incur massive financial loses.

The second humanoid sentient robots are granted human rights, the companies would only be making a loss on their creation and so, they wouldn't. The modern supply chain issues is a great example of why pulling this off in secret is practically impossible on a large scale.

Then imagine the maintenance involved. How often do you need to take your car to get checked up or repaired? One of the fundamentals of engineering is the more moving parts there are the easier for the system to fail. Then what happens if a robotics manufacturing company inevitably runs out of money & goes bankrupt, like what happens with cars?

No-way could this happen unless the robots were all programmed with self-building, self-repair & a wireless cooperation network.

this was made on the 10th this year... idk why people are making assumptions

Because they are Sinophobes.
You can find comparable poppycock in the comments section for every manhua in the forum.
It's sad.

It's not sinophobic to be worried about a government attempting to restrict LGBT representation. My worry is for the Chinese people that write & read this stuff. Apparently the government there has implemented new laws restricting LGBT representation in entertainment.

I don't know whether this was a Chinese or Taiwanese publication or how far those laws extend. I just wanted some context as to where this was published and it's relation to the new Chinese law.

I get that you're coming from a good place, but your concern would be much better placed on irl LGBT rights NGOs rather than creators of gay manhuas on the internet. FYI, censorship is rampant in China and it's bad, but it only affects "mainstream" stuff like published books and TV series. But even then it just removes the explicit and steamy parts, the gay is still retained.

Just look at the sheer number of BL animations and manhuas that get published each year and you'll understand. (They bring in huge money) They can never kiss explicitly on screen, but every single audience knows that they're gay through keywords and tropes.

Also, it IS kind of irritating to see "China is bad and has banned all gay stuff so how can this exist?!" in every GL manhua in here so I hope you'll understand where our frustration stems from.

My worries are on the actual people, I just didn't think that was relevant to this Manhua's comment thread in particular. But I know Chinese law would be and I really don't understand it much. I asked hoping someone here would know about the publish location & how Chinese law affects production of these works, as that's relevant to the work itself.

Did she wave a shipping fan up in front of live national television lmao

Yes, yes she did!

Now I'm curious about where this is based. I'm pretty sure you can't do that in China, they've been pushing some pretty shitty stuff lately.

I'm also curious how yuri Manhwa (did I spell it right?) are even allowed to be published over there?

"We're girls, we can soar through the sky too you know."

Hold up, girls can fly?
I like my weiner but maybe a sex change would be worth it suddenly...

I guess you're not familiar with Touhou lore. Everyone can fly in Gensokyo.

Doesn't work outside of it though as only the things that people stop believing in exist in Gensokyo.

That run an errand task doesn't make sense. All the other tasks were within Yvonne's power but this one puts all the control into Ellie's hands.

If this version wasn't rigged by Ellie herself then, what stops Ellie from just saying 'no' or leaving half-way forcing Yvonne to face the repercussions? That seems lika a kinda dumb mechanic.

Risa isn't acting nice but I don't really think she's a bad person either. Yuka accepted what was brought forward and if she can't anymore say so. Boundaries, communication, compactibility, yadda yadda.

Risa lied to Yuka in order to make her feel bad because she thought it was cute. I consider that a dick move.
Relationships are built off of trust. They don't trust or communicate with eachother, thus it is doomed to fail miserably.

^ That would work too as long as OL-chan got a gf too- maybe her co-worker who looks like koharu but older?

p.s Does it count as loli if its two young girls hooking up? Its nearly always age gap so you rarely see it.

Nah, usually that's called puppy love. I had a friend who got his first girlfriend in kindergarten, so it definitely happens. Success rates are incredibly low though.

Though technically the word loli just means little girl so yes it would be loli but functionally it's not paedophilia if both partners are underage. That's what the Romeo-Juliet clause was made for.

I guess ch2 needs a Het tag

Bisexual seem more appropriate

While there's nothing wrong with having Bisexual's in works like this (I hate that I have to clarify that) it's pretty clear that she's not into the man she slept with and just did it cause he took advantage of her when she was heavily intoxicated.

that´s sperm donation thing disturbing me .____. but it´s ok if arisa is happy

Don't really see how.

From what I've heard it's rather common for same-sex couples to start a family using donated sperm & surrogate's using IVF technology. It's not even isolated to same-sex couple's they're just the most obvious case.

Still didn't know what mixer means, can someone telling me in a simple way?

It's basically when a group of people get together to introduce each other and socialize. Typically in Japan the purpose is for a group of women to introduce themselves to a group of men, have drinks and flirt.

I'm not informed on the exact specifics but it's basically just group dating, Japan has a more reserved culture and so it tends to be a more serious and formal affair than elsewhere for whatever reason.

I have no idea why Japan has this reserved culture though. Does anyone know where this came from?

This manga made me look up the chama honorific which I had never heard before this.

You've never heard of our lord and master Haachama.

Are these the same couple from the other chapters? If so, the fact that they're 17 and 23 respectively is... something I would've liked to have known. No idea why y'all are so chill about this revelation lmao

17 is borderline. It depends on the context we don't really have. We also don't know the in-universe date or her birthday. As far as we know she turns 18 in a couple weeks.

Then we have to address if 18 is a good indicator of emotional maturity. In several countries age of consent can be 16. In Japan it's 13 if between minors only and otherwise it's 18.

It's a complicated topic around the 16-18 age range.

This will obviously not work out. They will spent a large chunk of their life in jail/psychiatric supervision. They may even be torn apart by those forces. In such a short story you can already predict that they will go on their last summer vacation together and travel around until they eventually are caught and separated for a decade and then they reunite again as adults. At least the daughter will no longer be abused in those years.

I understand setting the now orphan up in a foster home, but wouldn't this be considered a case of either 'self defence' or 'defence of others' or is the law different in Japan?

I really hope that's not the case.
