Personally, of all the couples this series features, I think I like Saori X Shizuku's story the most. I used to like Minami X Iori (I still do but not so much anymore) but I realize it's lacking conflict and overall just love-dovey most of the time. Plus I'm a sucker for slow burn development and yankee X good girl tropes. I think Saori and Shizuku are yet in love with each other, but their jealous/possessive tendencies as well as the comfortable silences they had so far do imply that they gravitate towards each other. I just hope there's gonna be more conflict that will finally bound them and get them to confess they want be closer and understand each other better. the girl who shook Shizuku (presumably an ex-girlfriend) would likely play a huge part for their arc.

Ryza x Klaudia lets go!! Besides Totori x Mimi, I think these two have a strong possibility of being canon lets go Ryza 3!!!

This ship really gives me mixed and conflicting feelings cuz I didn't know what was Urbosa and Zelda's relationship when I played the game and when I saw the memory where Zelda slept in Urbosa's arms, I was IN for the ship. It's only later on that I realized they had more of a mother/daughter or big sis/lil sis relationship that made me go "Oh... No..." So yeah on one hand I really like art until my afterthoughts resurface lmao

Totori is great! The characters and story are better than Rorona and Meruru in my opinion. And the yuri subtext heh. Though Meruru's yuri subtext is even greater.

Actually, there are a couple other Atelier games that had repeated protagonists such as Atelier Iris and Khemia. But to the main topic, YAS KLAUDIA X RYZA WHOOOO! Make it happen GUST! Klaudia seems to have a palpable role in the sequel LET'S GO!

I agree. They've basically done this kind of dynamic before which was somewhat successful like Sophie x Plachta (although I didn't see them in a romantic way since they were more like apprentice x master). Also for me, Stia's character was rather... bland and uninteresting.

I played Ryza and lemme just say there are some subtext for Ryza and Klaudia.

I just finished playing Lulua like less than a month ago and Lulua x Stia felt weird to me. Like in an instant Stia became an irreplaceable person to Lulua while the game never really showed them to be that close besides the brief cutscenes in between chapters. If anything, Lulua x Eva is more logical since Eva was never shy nor hid her feelings for Lulua and they have a lot more events together. Sigh once again GUST hit the wrong mark, in my opinion.
