You made me a pervert... now I have a fetish for the "very large size gap" (since when I saw them putting the nipples and clit inside XD)

Ahaha...you're welcome, ;P.

Incidentally, there were two other scripts I put out by the same author (notably less rapey, if that counts for anything) about the same time that this got translated... an anon on /u/ has stated that they'll be (very eventually) working on them, but if there were any other editors interested in working on them that'd be a big help. I was planning on taking these scripts over to Yuri Project eventually but I've been pretty busy recently and I'd like to work on some sfw projects with them before going back to porn.

what do you like more: marisa x reimu or marisa x alice? (I guess I choose both XD)

AliMari tends to make for cute or sweet little works, but there's something about ReiMari which sinks deep into the heart (for me anyway). ReiMari gives off an image for me of years (a lifetime, really) spent together; a casual companionship which, in spite of their differing personalities, makes it simply natural for the other to always be there.

I do get the feeling that people posing like this is an objectively 'bad' story are mad. The question of a doujin's quality isn't as simple as "this character is OOC, burn it." I wonder at the fact that all of you take Homura's "It was all you" comment at face value in the first place. The fact is, we know Homu is fucked up. We also know that her world is likely to be fucked up too. The premise of this doujin seems to be that Homu lets PMs' soul gems degenerate to the point of witchery before feeding them to QB (presumably for the sake of energy to maintain the happiness of Madoka's world). Under such circumstances, where the state of Sayaka's soul gem naturally deteriorated, her behaviour wasn't OOC at all.

You could say that the story's themes are unpleasant, or that the portrayal of Homura's character is pessimistic. However, it was the original series which 'went there' and put out those themes in the first place. Do I prefer stories where Homura's love doesn't end up hurting every last person except Madoka? Sure. But some of you need to suck it up and accept that some stories with endings which are not all rainbows and unicorns do exist and are legit.

and she said she did it out of loneliness, but i dont really get that feeling... at all really. i mean she starts off by saying that you only do that kind of thing with someone you love, and then post sex (or whatever that was) she seemed pretty sad that megu was leaving (and that smile/blush when megu hugged her). bottom line, i don't get the loneliness thing, i mean i could see that being a contributing factor but the sole reason?

It wasn't the sex which Youko was talking about (doing out of loneliness). It was feeding her, taking her out, and basically keeping her around in the present world as a companion. After realizing how helpless Megu was over here (and that she was using her to deal with her own loneliness), Youko decided to give Megu what she needed so she could return to her own world. Essentially, Youko kept Megu around out of loneliness, but had sex with her out of altruism/love.

That doesn't make sense 'cause it wouldn't actually show up in marriage searches. This whole spoiler issue in general seems kinda like a pain, I vote that we see if its possible to implement a 'spoilered' tag feature which only reveals the tag if a user clicks on it.

Canon Touhou ftw. I can just feel Zun's yurifag spirit lurking in the murky subtext depths behind the presentation of Akyu and Kosuzu. It's not interesting enough to catch on with the mainstream of the doujin scene/secondary market, but it's moe enough for me.

Oh my fuck. Another fucking NTR series. GFDI. There is a weirdly large amount of people in Japan, who have a pretty low view of lesbians, aren't there?

I'm not sure how you connected those dots. The bulk of NTR content is from straight H-manga scenarios. If I had to say NTR is a "low view" of women in general regardless of sexuality. Because they are "easily" seduced.

Haha. Call me twisted, but from my perspective most (het) NTR comes off as a low view on men (the protagonists). The core tragic flaw which basically makes up the essence of NTR is the protagonist's mistake in putting their lover/object of love on a pedestal. By ignoring/not noticing their partner's sexual/romantic/emotional desires, essentially by failing to recognize their partner as fully human, the protagonist loses them to someone else. I do find it difficult to enjoy every NTR out there because some of them are simply too degrading of women in the stereotypical pornish way for my taste, but I consider it a decently entertaining genre in general in no small part thanks to the butthurt it can generate in audiences, especially for het works.

In any case, regarding this piece in particular: I like Kuzushiro's works in general, and I like this one just on principal because I think it's dumb to get butthurt over NTR, but I have to admit that the fact that Kuzushiro is a dude does come through a bit too clearly in the work. The sex in this was reasonably delicious but as far as pure eroticism in yuri goes I think plain old cheating has more appeal than all the baggage that comes with NTR. NTR is basically the poor man's tragedy (in the ancient Greek sense) for fuckups who have had their heads rotten by porn. Essentially, I'd have to say that Kuzushiro had to have been a guy to even have thought of making this work. Not particularly what I'm looking for in yuri. On the other hand, though, this piece is still pretty great just 'cause it's (finally) a non-subtext work from Kuzushiro. I could comfortably describe Kimi no tame nara shineru as one of my freakin' favourite yuri series, but the fact that (as far as I can tell) Shonagon and Hime never got their pedo on remains one of my great disappointments.

Anyway, back to the exposition about the point of NTR (and why that's what this story is). Like the title suggests, the focal point of catharsis in NTR is the realization that 'everything' (the bad emotions the protagonist feels) is "your (the protagonist's) fault'. As far as the 'betrayal' of the protagonist's lover goes, 'you' were complacent in noticing what they truly desired, 'you' were the one who placed them on a pedestal, 'you' failed to understand/accept/connect with them on a human (given that it's porn, portrayed in the lowest animal sense) level. Your Apollonian ideal crumbled beneath the waves of Dyonesian chaos. The despair of the realization that you were the spur to your own destruction, the regret towards the tameless, boundless imperfection/unknowability of the universe, birth a carthartic response towards the world. In the context of the story, Ayaka and Kanako had been gradually developing a non-platonic relationship. Due to Ayaka's continued treatment of Kanako as a child/little sister, Kanako developed a desire to be perceived more maturely (i.e. as a proper lover). Raising the issue with her senpai after feeling like she was getting nowhere with Ayaka, Kanako discovered unexpectedly that her senpai could give her both the sense of maturity she wanted and more ;P. Ayaka then discovers to her shock that Kanako is really more mature than she had ever imagined, while Kanako revels in her childish behaviour around Ayaka out of petty revenge and superiority for Ayaka's original failure. Whether from Kanako's perspective or Ayaka's own, the story is an excoriation of Ayaka's tragic flaw, a chorus of "your fault". The tragic execution of the story is pretty decent, just a shame that it's fettered by the sexed up frame of NTR.

As yuri games go, I suppose Demon Master Chris is pretty relevant. It's a party-based dungeon crawler-type RPG where you have to capture the (female) monsters by stripping them; I found the battle system/story engaging enough, to 100% the thing over a week or so anyway; though I'd say the best way to go about playing it is probably to use Cheat Engine to give yourself infinite money at some point to spend on the clothing system.

In case anybody is interested, there was a good discussion thread here on /u/. You can also find a strategy guide and link to a general discussion thread (from before the game got translated to English) [here](ulmf.org/bbs/showpost.php?p=481831&postcount=75).

Haru suddenly trying to kiss Riko actually surprised me, kinda came outta nowhere... Like no build up (IIRC) from her side - her feelings - it is just suddenly happening...

That's one of the things I like best about Haru's character, her apparent self-consciousness and the subdued/extremely low-key way she's been competing with Akane's overt fangirlism. I was really wondering how she'd act/react after Riko's hugging scene with Akane earlier.

In the context of Haru's buried/very subtle feelings for Riko, her forceful/genki everyday personality becomes an interesting weapon. Maybe you could say it's cliche to base expectations for a story based on its title, but I've basically been reading Haru this way from after the very first chapters.

This chapter was goddamned adorable with Haru's reaction after Riko woke up unexpectedly, but I'll say that I'm glad that the story hasn't reached the point of resolved/explicit romantic relationships just yet. Seeing all the ways Haru tries/even manages to keep a straight face while Akane is all over Riko is admittedly pretty entertaining. I've posted with an obvious bias towards Haru in this thread before, but I suppose part of it is because I've invested in what I see as this underdog situation of hers.

As a pretty hardcore Saki fan, the first chapter was probably the least great/amusing to me, because the actual backstory/premise about "Ritz searching for her father" is something I had never heard about/seen evidence for and I still find unbelievable even now (which, if it's fake, makes the foundation of this spinoff somewhat awkward...It takes the work of Ritz, a normal lesbian mangaka who enjoys making manga about little girls in lewd outfits and big boobs, and imposes some sort of father-centric backstory on it while placing the father as one of the heads of the more traditional mahjong manga (i.e. manly mahjong manga) establishments...). As a standalone piece it's actually kind of awkward, and not something I enjoyed as much as I actually expected to back when I first read it as a Saki fan.

On the other hand, the later chapters in the series (i.e. Ritz getting an injury while visiting Nara for materials-gathering and needing to be hospitalized, recruiting Igarashi Aguri for the Achiga spin-off series, or preparing six-months of storyboards in advance for the first anime) are things that actually happened and pretty familiar to the fanbase due to their effects on the manga's serialization. Once you get the motivation out of the way, it's also pretty amusing to see Ritz being portrayed as such a badass character. So I like the later chapters much better, and it's pretty much for that reason that I hope to see the side-series continue; although the existence of this series itself can sort of be seen as a tribute to what a big splash Saki made in the mahjong manga world.

thank god i read the comments so im not surprised at what happens next

You mean "will not read what happens next", right? Because that's my plan.

oh no i'll still read it, sounds too interesting to not read

Well, the thing is that the chapter everyone's posting spoilers of has already been scanlated (one of the first things Binbou did apparently), it just won't be uploaded here. On the other hand, though I don't remember the chapter itself too well, I do think it's pretty neat that it's apparently attached to these earlier chapters as part of an extended narrative.

Presumably Binbou will put out the remaining two parts of this series at some point as well. I'll be looking forward to them!

I somehow remember reading this latest chapter before (like months ago, which is kinda weird), but not the concluding portion referencing Ritz being 'destroyed' by overwork from too many projects. Even though this is supposed to be a fictional biography, that last part strangely sounds all too real. After all, Ritz's notorious tendency to take breaks on the main Saki manga has been around forever, and her tendency to overwork (writing gigantic scripts for Igarashi every month for the spinoff mangas, or plotting her manga storyboards over six months ahead for the anime adaptations) as well.

Incidentally, I notice the first three chapters of Oowada Hideki's Legend of Koizumi are on here. Presumably that's from back when Xamayon/XLG Scans were still active. The series has been scanlated up to ch. 72 by various scanlators, and is a pretty damned good satire/parody/comedy even aside from the mahjong, so it'd be pretty neat to see more recent chapters up.

I still can't get over the fact that Ritz's biographical manga is part of Saki's officially approved spinoffs, and is even being distributed as a special with the BDs. Too fucking awesome/funny, lol.

Wow, I think I must have missed this back when it got released. Don't remember reading most of it in any case. It was really good though, I love the thought and feeling the author put into the characters. Also, I ship Ako x Sera much more than Ako x Shizu too, so that was neat.

Moe up the butt, holy shit lol. There's something about the way Love Live! does lips, it's freakin' lewd, but even on top of that Nico and Maki just look gorgeous together. The art in this is freakin' hnnngh.

Come to think of it, I guess part of what makes NicoMaki so gorgeous is that Nico's eyes match Maki's hair.

I could get pretty into this. Looks like the scanlated releases are pretty staggered, though. Hopefully Shirow's name is letting it do whatever it wants over in Japan at least, 'cause I think it'd make a pretty good anime.

Aside from the sci-fi stuff, the vibe reminds me of Murcielago. I wouldn't mind seeing more action/comedy based yuri at all; this was a pretty neat upload.

Thanks for ch. 29! I thought it was pretty interesting too. Tamami's character profile at the start of the volume is rather unflattering so it was a rather fresh being treated to her perspective.

I'm not familiar with the first two volumes at all but don't really have a problem just jumping in with what you've released with vol. 3. Of course I'll look forward to going over the first two volumes once you get around to that as well.

SubaTea is indeed criminally under-represented. I guess there is way less canon material to work off of than NanoFate, though. Although they were arguably 'main characters' in Strikers, they're not portrayed that often in any of the stuff afterwards, and even more rarely interacting together.

It was totally weird to see a reference to 7th Dragon in this manga though, lol. It's one of the best RPGs that ever came out for the DS, which didn't make it out of Japan. I spent a good hundred hours or more with it a couple months ago thanks to a translation patch which came out this past April, and had a great time with a party named after Precure and Touhous.

Kinda a weird timing on this considering the recent rains in Japan. As for the story's canon consistency/believability, I figure the prolonged duration of the flooding (did they give a figure? Maybe a couple weeks?) would have been enough to overwhelm whatever preparations the characters might have made.

I dunno if it was the story's tendency to wander or the milder than usual themes/etc. but this didn't leave as strong an impression as Yakumi Sarai's other works. Still a pretty good read; in any case, his use of a large cast made it at least an engaging romp through a lot of my favourite characters.

People ship NicoMaki because it's the best, even without being in the anime lol. Well, I pretty much have also only watched the anime myself, so go here: http://nikomaki.tumblr.com/tagged/nicomaki for some non-anime stuff which has been translated.

I can't even really tell why I've begun to like NicoMaki so much; a big issue I had even a couple weeks ago was that most of the doujins never really explore how/why Nico and Maki came to be attracted to each other. I guess I might've been stuck in an 'anime-only' continuity state of mind. After reading more doujins and side-materials I've started to feel that Nico/Maki's weird tension/attraction is just a natural part of them, but I've still been looking for a meaty doujin which really got into the emotions and basis of their relationship. The story here looks it could be just that; I've been really impressed with these last two chapters.
