I always get grossed out when they say "stop"... I mean, I can tolerate one or two "no" out of embarasement, I'm used to that already, but the "stop" sounds like a clear rejection.
Well, since she could clearly stop her, but in this case she doesn't, I'd allow it. But if it was an old man I would not tolerate it at all. Though I guess in a way, Jun is just like those old men, just younger and a girl version...well whatever
I read Nana Yuri a while ago which was before this chapter was released, and just reading this now has surprised me since the chapters before have been all cutesy, and this one is taking a dark turn
My impression is that the author is calling back on older class S yuri, where the idea of double suicide as an act of love is more common (see Oniisama e). It just feels particularly odd because of how it clashes with the otherwise cute tone and artstyle.
If this author is crying out for help, I'm sure changing artstyle isn't easy for anyone
She said she wouldn't go out with her... so I bet she just vomited on her clothers so she had to undress her and just left her naked as she was.
I can see it now...
"Umm can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Why are we naked?"
"Oh yeah, you vomited so I had to take your clothes off"
"Why are you naked?"
"I just like sleeping naked."
"What kind of reason is that?"
I'm surprised the catholic school allows them to be in love, I guess times are a changing...or maybe I'm just thinking about old old times because I'm reading yuri manga all day instead of looking into the outside world
Better idea: a girl Kana already knows is blatantly into her, but Kana is too busy spectating all of the other yuri around her to notice.
A series about this would actually be a rather hilarious premise, lol. The other girl is always trying to make it clear how she feels but every single time something happens around them to distract Kana.
it could even be the girl in the sports jacket behind her :3
I started reading this yesterday and today I suddenly got to Ch. 8 and I was surprised lol
Probably because the pacing was kinda slow with the confession
Personally, this was really well done and relateable. (For some)
Then again...yuri isn't yuri unless they say "I love you" and they kiss/make out right?
eye roll
It's not yuri, but it's Shoujo Ai...although Dynasty doesn't have a "Shoujo Ai" tag
But, they have subtext which works way better than yuri and shoujo ai
Don't know why, but this really tugs at my heartstrings.
This is about friendship and isn't yuri but it still manage to convey it's message in so few pages.
The story is mainly for college or older adults. We've all drifted apart from some of the friends we've had during our school years.
Everyone has to live his/her life y'know, but it's still a bit sad that the friendships we hold dear at some point is reduced to something like vague memories and/or non-existant/occasional meetings.
Yeah, I'm still young but I've lost a lot of friends due to them going to different schools or moving. But really do miss them
Not to pick nits, but the translation says "Scissor!" when Asane clearly throws paper (and paper beats rock, so that's how she wins the game). Was this a mistake or did she say one thing and throw another (which would cause a big fight in any RPS game I've ever played. XD)
Also, I'm really coming around on this author. The stories are super simple to this point but cute and right in my strike zone, and the art is growing on me. Hope she puts out something for purchase at some point!
I think that was the end of the phrase "Rock, Paper, Scissors!" Although I don't know if the translator or typesetter forgot to put the s at the end of scissors
"You sound alike..." Hah! I get it, they have the same VA
Man, I loved this. I wish this actually happened like the crossover with SKET Dance and Gintama
