I didn't like this one when I first read it, but a second reading has sweetened me up to it... I like the optimistic open ending and the hint of lighthearted-ness. Felt a bit like the authors feelings were seeped into Riku's experiences, but I might be reading too much into that.

I took a look at the blog associated with him and oooh boy, what a wild sight. His works are ridiculously thought out from what little I previewed and pretty disturbing for someone who isn't accustomed to that side of things...

I still continue to read his stuff here because it's mostly light hearted, cute, and has of-age characters, but sometimes I wonder if it's okay to just like certain works from him and then disassociate from the other stuff.

It's just a trope. But then again, a lot of Asians have Hemoglobin E (HbE) which causes mild anemia. It's prevalent enough that a lot of asian remedies are for fainting or feeling dizzy.

I did watch Budoukan but unfortunaly the manga is not translated so it's kinda hard to compare. Maybe the relations between the idols are not focus that much in the manga and it's only Erypio/Maina which in itself had take 7 episodes to have something a bit concrete.

I've read a bit of the manga on a foreign translation, but I agree that they've definitely tuned in on the yuri focused aspects in the girls' interactions with each other. Also it helps that the voice actresses all seem to have script directions that help encourage this tone, haha.

The crossing scene was the the first thing I noticed, just because, WTF is up with romance at railroad crossings, Japan?

It's easily symbolic and memorable. My favorite usage of it was in 5 Centimeters Per Second. That being said, lord, do I love the pacing in this one.

Apart from those filthy doughnuts it's a good story till now, but, as it is set in this day and age, it seems a bit unlikely that neither of them had the "Oh fuck, I'm in love with her" epiphany yet. Subaru will have to guide them. Next chapter maybe, if it takes longer it gets silly.

The MCs of your romance story are too passive/shy/closeted/whatever so that there’s no progress. Solution: introduce another character.
The bad way: introduce a nuisance rival to create a love triangle.
The good way: introduce a relative/friend that ships them.

This also works in real life!

But not gonna lie the dad took me by a surprise usually when you saw drunkin dad in anime/manga without a mom some dark stuff tend to happen but i kindda love how this manga went. It just different than the ones we tend to get and some how close and easy to relate.

as @Anjelika mentioned, bitch has a different connotation in Japanese than it does English. It's usually used to describe someone who's a slut. And I think it was pretty clear our protag is quite the slut, while the motocycle girl would be the college girl.

Gotcha. I thought as much, but got confused since it seemed like the protag was the one who is falling in love with the college (motorcycle) girl, contrary to the title.

instead of
"This is the story of a college girl falling in love with a bitch."

I'm already confused on who is the college girl and who is the bitch... Pardon my comprehension issues, but can someone kindly clear it up for me?
