Diana will never win against Lapis because she offers the single thing that Natori values the most...job satisfaction

Please tell me this is sarcasm... Because no matter how much Natori likes to mistake her feelings for that, we as the readers really should know better.

"What is this quaking excitement in my body? Why does my heart thunderously pound? OH I KNOW! IT MUST BE THE OVERWHELMING SATISFACTION OF A JOB WELL DONE!

I will say though that for someone who is severely undervalued and shafted the idea of an employer both recognizing and praising your hard work is some real potent stuff. Combine that with the fact that Lapis can also make Natori's heart pound like a war drum and that is a powerful combination.

In oversimplified terms it's reverse suspension bridge syndrome

Suspension bridge syndrome is when you mistake adrenaline for heart flutter. Natori here is mistaking heart flutter for adrenaline

So, everything goes the same way of the original game, only, way gayer. Seems like a W if I'm being honest.
However, I still don't know which ship's my favourite, and which one will prevail but hey, Diana won some more point (again) with her crazy yandere-ish vibes during this chapter!

Gay betrayal, Gay eradication of the people, Gay death by the heroes hand, Gay revolution anxiety

It's a child. Please, no.

Omichi please stop falling for the literal child.

They're both children, you're overreacting.

No, they're pixels on your monitor.

For a moment we all thought it was real, thank goodness you set us straight.

Set us Straight? Is that what this was all about

Well Lapsis isn't getting much character Growth and overall she's harder to read. On the other hand Diana is much more open with her feelings and gets bolder each chapter.

Lapsis needs to step up her game

Lapis and Natori have a 2 way connection. Natori doesn't see Diana the same way Diana sees her. Diana's moments are all unrequited "please notice me my crush" while Lapis actually do connect with Natori.

Now I wonder if Diana was always like this or if Natori awakened this side of her.

Natoris presence has already changed Diana's life, if it wasn't for her Diana would still be enchanted by her magic, now because of the near collateral damage incedent she sees it has something dangerous and the reason she isn't freaking out about it is because of Natoris approval

I've seen many idiot couples, I've seen some unredeemable idiots, but Akari-chan really takes the idiot cake.

Her friend has all the right to be pissed at her. If it was me, I'd grab a big stick and do that Buddhist thing you do to wayward disciples: I'll bop her on the head real hard to make her achieve enlightenment.

Going out for Tea wouldn't resolve the issue, she is obstinately pissed that she has been forgotten and wants her to remember her on her own

I was hoping for a chapter with more flirting in it

I don't think Okiku is the endgame

So far every intimate scene with her has either resultet in a scare or Ryou thinking of her alive crush. I think The end of Okikus arc will be her passing on (or attaching herself to the childhood friend)

Okiku us really flipping rude with all that casual destruction of Ryous stuff

My guess here is that all the talk of love will make Ryou reminisce more about her friend and want to make amends

Wouldn't be an Isekai without a love triangle where one girl is inevitably going to get hurt. Especially since most of these writers never have the balls to go with the polyamory ending

Right... It takes balls to fizzle drama and tension...

...I could read yuri with that premise for the rest of my life and never get sick of it.

Almost 100% agreed there. One of my favorite things is having these characters with icy, rough exteriors and seeing their ice slowly melt like that.

All the little things she does brightens my day
-Lapis

That's what love is, you described a working relationship.
I hope the prince doesn't become the sole villain, that would be tired.
Natori realized that she has become greedy... She is one house fire away from turning into Taihou tbh.

I prefer this ship but I guess it wouldn't be about her getting into lez brothels if she settled down huh. Nanao seems to be rich tho... how about end this and make a sequel called "Asumi-chan Is a Trophy Wife"? no? aight.

Nanao: "Asumi stop frivolously spending my money on prostitutes and boat vacations!"

One thing I feel people have missed about this chapter, by the end of the "date" Akane ended up mothering Jun. This is significant because it shows that their relationship hasn't actually changed from adult and kid even though Jun wants it otherwise.

Basically Jun failed and in too of that Akane has acquired ammunition to ward her mom's demands off now that she knows that Jun has friends in Tokyo
