youre free to find this unfunny but i think youre reading too much into it if you believe that this joke and/or dynasty as a whole is making some kind of larger statement on colonization/racism/some other bigger political topic

The Spaniards raped the people they colonized. The joke is in incredibly poor taste.

As an aside, this comes across as especially odious for the site because it was only yesterday that several people specifically requested to not post this artist's work here anymore, citing this as the reason. Perhaps this was something that slipped through the cracks, but it's still not a good look.

This is the same site that immediately bans transphobes. I don't see why this should be allowed to stay or was even posted to begin with. Even inflammatory language against straight was put under more scrutiny than this (not that it shouldn't).

^ To be fair, Ivy is an eco-terrorist. She's definitely a bad person but to call her a worse girlfriend is definitely out of line. She's pretty clearly the healthiest option for Harley and far far better then The Joker ever was.

^ They can be rather really inconsistent when it comes to tagging posts with Mizuki. At least they committed to tagging MizuEna ones with NB + trans recently.

Though I do welcome adding the Yuri tag because the evidence points to Mizuki being transfem way a lot more especially after Mizu5. While not the case with NB tag, DS does tag Yuri with Transgender so why not I guess. But it's their call.
