Was behind on this anime but when I keep seeing posts about these two being like Married Couple™, I went right back to catch up.
Also they lowkey remind me of BoNiji which I also love~

^^In the first episode Mako was introduced as someone who suffers from social anxiety (in a relatable way, not stylized like Bocchi). This trait was dropped immediately in the following episodes though. So, Kurea would be the Bocchi in this case?

^I think while Bocchi's anxiety is in some ways exaggerated within the series for effect, it's still relatable for a lot of people including myself. Her general social anxiety and pacing around, though luckily for Bocchi she experiences growth with handling it where as I'm still waiting for that with my anxiety lol
Also I think Nana is more so the Bocchi of the series...? Last episode she had to use a costume to interact with strangers.

^^I guess I phrased it badly, I meant that the situations and reactions Bocchi goes through that far from what could possibly happen in real life. I also suffer from severe social anxiety and Mako's struggles in the first episode felt much more relatable than anything in Bocchi because of the stylization. Yes, I'm pro-Bocchi.
Nana is both real Bocchi and the Bocchi from her fantasies in way. But @Perlen297 compared this pairing with Bocchi and Nijika, so I was wondering which one would be Bocchi, Mako from the first episode or Kurea from the vacation expisode.

By the way, I brought up BoNiji because that scene in Episode 1 of Mako and Kurea outside the restaurant at night lowkey reminds me of a similar-looking BoNiji scene. That and personality-wise, they kinda check out.
Nana though for me is more of a mix of Bocchi and Kita depending on whether she knows you or not.
