I recommend reading for light novel,, clear and muddy loss of love & Female General and Eldest Princess (from the same author). Angst is its main point and it has about 303 chapters but I already finished it so i can say that the story is so good even if its angst heavy,,

Though I kinda feel like had I looked at this objectively, I would've found the writing rather mediocre, to me this ln was pretty decent.

honestly, I keep coming back to this.. there’s a bit too much nsfw content for my taste but the plot is so wholesome and I loved reading this LN. I think w nuanced plots like this one, illustrations just won’t cut it. I mean, ofc I’m a visuals type gal but I don’t mind reading stuff like this once in a while.

Eh, I really don’t think it matters. Even if you’re goïng to include it under your definition of incest (which I personally wouldn’t), it’s just not problematic in any way. They don’t run into the usual genetic issues with incest, and they didn’t grow up together so it’s not like they’re breaking any social barriers either (i.e. they’re not overriding the natural inhibitions most people have in place to not be attracted to their siblings). So I see no problem with it, they’re sisters in name only and name is just not relevant.

^ also, they made sure to not be able to have any children, unlike their mothers, so there's no risk of genetic defects in offspring.
