I know I'm late but the reason why Miko is a transgendered person is because she chose to stay that way. She could turn back to Prince Shoutoku but she instead chose to be Miko so in a sense she prefers staying as a woman.

Just so you know, Rindou Mikoto (oni lady) is actually smaller at 130 cm compared to Ange Katrina who is 160 cm.

@squishy-shi well from what I remember (and actually looked at just now), the art style used to be taller heads and vertical lines for noses and it was not painted like this at all; they were mostly sketches. Artists should learn other styles and I see they got better at drawing in the original style the source came from

Krupinski is from Brave Witches, a spin-off series. The "Countess", she is also a Karlsland ace, enjoys alcohol and women.
