If you are interested in Lobotomy Corp, I'd suggest either trying it (steam returns within alloted time frame) or looking up one of those non-spoiler intros.
If you end up not finding it your style there are plenty of good playthroughs available on YouTube.
(I'm partial to Empty Industry for game play, but it is extremely spoilery.)
