The original was written November 19th of last year, for those curious. I'll spare everyone the political joke, but it's certainly self-evident. I think there's a lot more this doujin could do with, but all-in-all it's a significantly interesting and unique read for a doujin. Which is saying something! Considering it's Touhou and all.

Does it need a Mystery tag?

Ah I was looking for the time it was published, I should have just checked the comments first lol. Nice story! Brought in a lot of different elements of the Touhou world.

Do we have those? Do you mean like weaponized gas and bubonic plague bombs? I don't think we have any population attacking agents since Japan's plague bombs on China in WW2. Or are you talking things that kill crops? Most of what I can think of are assassination tools like anthrax or larger nerve gas attacks. If such things entered Touhou land... it would require a modern state implementing it or be analogous to poisoning or yokai attacks. As for bioterrorism, this doujinshi basically could be an account of that happening. There are a worrying number of smallpox samples missing after the fall of the USSR. One being intentionally deployed today is feasible.

On the flip side, if modern military attacks happened on Gensokyo, it would probably crumble.

I'd totally tag this mystery. A huge yikes on the timing considering the Reitaisai this would've been at was canceled.

And my bad on editing your post, meant to hit "quote"

What do you mean by that? I feel like a lot of touhou doujins being uploaded here are unique and interesting. Or at least not less interesting than other works on average.
