The amazing thing about this is how perfectly the original character designs come through, especially Asuka's.

^ As of ch. 144, they do sit beside each other in class after seats are reassigned, and Nemo actually asks Yuri whether she's sad she isn't sitting by her friends. Yuri is a little stand-offish at this, but Nemo comes through for her at a key moment later on in the chapter.
