I see this more as two characters rejecting their own yuri cliches than anything else.

reading this again i can't help but notice how shady sakura seems to act but the part that messed me up was the fact that she didn't look like she was in love with mio as a person but rather the idea of a princely figure that mio represented

But that hilariousness on the credit page made it all worth it.
Citrus got roasted to hell and back. I don't dislike Citrus, but damn, that made me laugh so hard that my younger brother yelled at me, quote: "Don't be so loud!". I think he was drawing something in his notebook at the time?

I don't get it. I always get a weird disquieting feeling when I read this story, yet it's stilll one of my all time favs.
