And is that really the name of Miho's dad? Cause I'm pretty sure we were never told what his name was.

Yes, it is. There's even official artwork of him, though we don't get to see his face.

He also properly debuts in Chapter 41 of "Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu!" (currently untranslated); again, his face remains hidden. And there's a considerable amount of fanart about him already, as well as comics that actually feature him as a non-silent character.

NicoNico Dictionary also has an entry about him: http://dic.nicovideo.jp/a/%E8%A5%BF%E4%BD%8F%E5%B8%B8%E5%A4%AB. According to someone's translation of the page, "his name first came out in Miho's Oarai City special resident card." (an image of which is linked below)

On the books maybe. But do yourself a favor by ignore or pretend it doesn't exist. I don't see the prove yet but for me it just writer 'opinion' and I disagree.

Since when does promoting lesbian romance require partaking in such anti-heterosexual discrimination as you are promoting?

Yeah I'm anti heterosexual and bisexual on the show I like. Just because I hate it doesn't mean that I judge non lesbian nor do I feel lesbian is superior to het or bi.

Being anti-heterosexual as a shipper is one thing. Taking that anti-heterosexuality all the way into "all traces of heterosexuality in the shows that I like are not canon even if they're both officially canon and widely accepted as such by the fandom" is a completely different can of worms.

For the record, I'm saying this because your post that I had quoted in my previous post comes across as being the latter to me in the way it's phrased.

On the other hand, brushing aside of the question of lesbian identity with the usual "not all women, just her" equivocations.

If it's the part I'm thinking of, I disagree with that reading. She's talking about how they're both only in their first serious relationship. Cue standard worry about whether they could find the same happiness or even better in the arms of another, something that's not even remotely exclusive to homosexuals.

She's also drunk, so there's also an element of inebriated epiphany: "You know, I never asked if she's bi. Shit, I never even asked if I'm bi! *gay panic*"
