We may disagree about many things here because we all read the story differently but one thing stays true to all of us - the ending suckc but those who liked Seju the most are the true winners because this girl got the best and only development.

Dou you even know how we feel? That in the end, Seju is still there, lonely and sad. She is still out there struggling alone for God knows how long cause we dont get to see her happy, or get to see her being comforted or just get a hug or sth. We dont get to see that

Maybe the ending is bad but at least, Sumin and Sungji are happy, Seju is not so the same.

She has the best development but its just a waste. Its so regretful that it got wasted. There are so many "what-ifs" for this character, if she gets a proper story line.

I may again speak of yoonie, Momonosuke and myself, we never wanted to alter the ending to match what we desire or tell the writer what to do, this is not our place and we don't have a say in that. It is just the shock related to how it happened.. in a sense, that there was enough base and solid ground to push any couple together way back and it could've ended in a better way without even changing the so called "end game". In short, TG could've still ended it Sumingji in a better more decent way with all of the details and ground that they made previously.

If you tell me that everything from ch73 to now was an attempt to show Seju moving on, then honey really think about the possibilities of doing that in ch74 when Sumin went and talked it with Seju once and for all. But no, they added growth to everyone and ended the whole thing so suddenly on a very volatile emotional stage rather than the solid one.

That is one of the only ways I could see a reconciliation between them.

But throwing all discussions out the window... next chapter will probably show Sumin and Sungji happy while Seju explores her mother's villa. This will lead to the side story (or the side story might be Sumin and Sungji still, who knows at this point).

Seju is the character I love. I think I'm confident that I understand what kind of person she is so its safe for me to say she is a hard to approach person, someone who doesnt easily trust people and open up to people. So for a new love interest to have her way with Seju, there will be one heck of progress from approaching her, being her friend, gain her trust, making her let her guard down, break through all her defense walls. Its not easy to have Seju to love gain, cause she has loved Sumin too much

And honestly, its pretty interesting to know how to make Seju love again at this point, the journey of it is kinda....exciting in my....head, sadly, lollll

Since Nora has retired (sadly), I put this thing together...

I was convinced of the Seju and Sumin ending, because it was seemingly hinted throughout the manhwa. This ending was conclusive, final, and solid. It would have wrapped everything up nicely.

Apparently, this was never meant to be and it was not as important as I thought.

Disclaimer: First time making something like this, so I apologize if you cannot read the text that clearly or if the images are blurry. I suggest looking up the chapters instead if this is the case. This took me a couple hours (Nora, you have really affected me...)

The highlighted texts indicate "hints" to the ending. The others are scenes that mention "forever" and "marriage." I could only fit so much and I did not even get into the possible symbolism in the manhwa.

Funny how this potential "set up" for the ending was unintended. I guess I read too much into it. Oh well.

Also, Seju does not know of this arrangement for her and Sumin. Check chapter 62. Guess she never will... I wonder if it will ever be brought up again (maybe briefly by her brother?).

Nevertheless, this manhwa will always have its great moments and I do not at all regret reading it or being part of this discussion. :)

yes, you are recalling the article correctly.. but "loving again" was quite misleading to me at least as you implied with Sungji's case specifically. But then, the term "again" is also misleading and would have meant "Sejumin" as well who had some sort of love-hate relationship for a long time.

As for the friendship part, I mean .. wth! Like it wasn't enough that they made Sungji accept Sumin back ONLY because Sumin spent some time alone in her apartment XD. If Seju comes around the neighborhood, their strong relationship will fall apart, you know ! XD

I really can't see Seju with someone else coz for her "Sumin" is absolute so if not, then nothing else should be. So I really prefer her to be alone. Maybe I am selfish. But that's just how I see Seju-- stubborn, full of pride, lonely, but most of all, her love for Sumin is what I really like the most. She will be fine with just herself and I don't wanna ruin her at least in my mind.

Don't get me wrong. I hate Sumin with all my being. Most of us wanted Seju to be happy. And all I can give is support Seju's mindset that it should only be Sumin(she said so herself). It is the author's choice not to end it that way. And for them to make a new love interest for Seju, well, that's a big no for me. It is something like a consolation which I can't take.
