On another note, that title made me crack up.

I'm too perverted.

So i was not alone :' ) ...Yay for perverts! (wait...)

Someone needed to tell Nico you only use one finger at first, and only after Maki says it's okay. (Anyone who reads comments first, before reading the doujin, my apologies).

I liked it for showing us a different take on Maki and in the end it was suprisingly fluffy and lighthearted. I do agree with peeps here that it felt out of character for the dad especially and also it seemed somewhat forced that Nico would be the one dealing with this, but it could happen, she is technically the club president after all.

I also found it a bit funny to see MakiNico slapping eachother around lol, litteraly this time, not verbally.

Love Live has multiple continuities that don't agree with each other on everything. The anime never shows her parents as anything less than 100% supportive, but even in the School Idol Festival continuity, there's an arc where they're pressing her to drop piano if she doesn't do well at the recital. Not to say Papa Slap isn't being exaggerated, but I'd expect one of the continuities came close enough that this isn't an entire asspull.

In the manga, Maki can't stand her parents for being obsessed with money and social standing and using her for their own ends, so she retreats into her music. That version I can 100% see in this situation.

You also forgot: different culture, different (expected) family dynamics.

A cheap excuse. Japan is a bit different but it is not as cliche as in anime/manga.

I assume you've never seen such a family in real life. I come from a traditional Asian family and I can tell you I've been beat with a cane more times than I can count, sometimes from teachers too.

Same but that changed somehow when I turned 18 can make my own decision now but its weird cause I was controlled my whole life and then i was immediately set free without knowing what I really want to do.

Alright, that "I'm an adult now and I don't know what to do" feeling exists in EVERY culture but yeah, I bet its worse in societies were your parents basically own your soul.
