That is why basis of firing off employees must be transparent. The shady corporate world is a cut-throat reality of greed.

I am conflicted on this. I like the idea of transparency. In reality though, people in US sue for anything, corporation need a way to protect itself. The less info they give out, they lower the chance of giving out "bad" information. Besides, when an employee quits, she does not need to give any reason, so it is only fair that employment is at-will for both sides.

Depends on your definition of failure. I had a colleague who cried over a B+ --.--. We were graded to fit the Gaussian curve, so a lot of time, it was not about how well we understood the material but more on how good/bad we were compared to our peers. Cruel cruel world, but she lives. Good job, girl.

In the end, Having a D in my transcript is still better than many other possibilities XD

Still didn't get to read the chapter properly.. I was commuting from my home to the airport twice in just 24 hours XD.. I didnt even nap after my exam.

The good part is, I discovered an amazing restaurant at the Airport.. and had a food-gasm on the most delicious Crème brûlée I've ever tasted.
