Considering the disappointing lack of yuri hentai in recent years, I'm curious if it would be possible to rally the community to create a fan-made animation. The content of the animation would depend mostly on what the volunteers' would want to or be willing to work on, and realistically, it would only be a 5 or 10 minute animation. I'm mostly curious to see if it's at all possible, but if it is, I'd seriously consider doing it and managing it.

We are working on an animatic to provide you all, as well as ourselves, with a clear idea of where we're going with this and what we're capable of. Once this is done, I will open up a channel for accepting donations, though we have yet to decide on how and where exactly we will be doing that.

It sounds like you're trying to create a single 5-10 minute piece that would match the quality and depth of professional hentai productions. Even if you use some of the less-than-stellar examples of the genre as a bar, it's a very tall order to fill. This will be doubly true if this production will simply be the collaboration of disparate artists of varying degrees of professionalism from all across the internet, as opposed to an actual production from an established animation studio.

I think a more reasonable approach would be to commission a series of 1-3 minute pieces from various artists, then compile them into an anthology. Still a lot of work, but probably more conducive to the type of production crew you'd end up assembling with a project like this.

P.S. I put my vote for participation in as an volunteer animator, but I can (probably) handle backgrounds and editing as well. If someone's willing to pay me I'm not going to argue against them.

That's true... The lack of real yuri hentai hurts me deeply.
Thinking about it, I believe is better to aim lower in terms of duration, like between 3 to 6 minutes... I don't make animations, I can only draw characters but I'm not very fast or good with people to work in a group, but I'm saying this based on the amount of time that my favorite animators in youtube (like Harry Patridge) tend to take between videos... I've seen many patrons project cancelled because one of the members decided to quit half way or found another project... Or they underestimated the amount of work, the money wasn't a problem.

So if you can show to the world that your group can make a decent first animation, then you'll have more support for the next one and aim higher. For that is necessary to be concise and realistic.

If you want 10 minutes or more, I guess flash would be an option too, like repeating loops and clicking "next" to see the ending.

I'm an artist who draws as a hobby currently, but going to school for graphic design. I've never done projects before so if I volunteered not sure what I'd be able to help with. I've used a lot of programs like photoshop and own clip paint ex to draw.
Ill see if I can volunteer and what I'd be willing to help out with? Honestly, this would be more and yo guys should make a discord group or a Skype group to communicate about this project.

(I recommend giving a talking about this animation on tumblr and Twitter. Since, there's a lot of artists who would be willing to help and many that read yuri.)

The reason I'm leaving its subject open for discussion is because I understand better than anyone that nobody wants to work on something that they themselves aren't passionate about. If the team I assemble are passionate about working on this because it's a parody of a series they all enjoy, an original story that they all like, or even if it just contains their personal fetishes, it will greatly improve their motivation and the quality of their work.

Realistically, animation takes too long to expect more than a single scene to come out of a bunch of volunteers, so it's going to have to be a single story. From what I've discussed on my discord server, we're going to go with an original story, so I've added a poll for more volunteer positions, including writers, sound designers, bgm composers, and key frame artists.

Here is the first script I've written for this project. I've tried to make it convey both the chemistry between both characters and the sexual attraction that starts one sided, but as this is hentai, quickly turns mutual.

This is my first script, and honestly, there's not much here from personal experience, so I'd appreciate it if any writers or anyone with relevant experience would share their suggestions and critiques. Also, I am aware that it is quite long for an animation project, but it is still the first draft. Plus, personally, I'd much rather have a fully fleshed out story and simply sacrifice the number of frames in non-erotic shots.
