Dating someone older than you is better. Or at least that's what I see since I only ever dated older girls than I am.

I don't think dating older is necessarily better or worse. If you're dating older, then your partner is in the position of dating someone younger and all the pluses and minuses of that. There's something to be said for being with someone who's sort of in the same place in life as you are, regardless of age. When I was in college I dated (slept with...) my fair share women around my own age. Once I graduated that hasn't happened again, for whatever reason.

Happy to have any of my antics put a smile on someone's face. In truth, I live a very fortunate life, so it's easy for me to keep things light and joke around. I understand the struggles other lgbt go through, as so many of them are a part of my life. But I don't have as stressful of a coming out story as most (particularly for having an Asian immigrant family), so it was easier for me to sort of just go out into the world and figure things out, without worrying what kind of familial and social repercussions there might be.

If you think they have a hunch, they probably have more than a hunch lol. Even so, coming out is such a personal thing. Think it's pretty clear you already know there are communities that will accept you with open arms. Finding it in yourself to make the leap with the ones you care about/mean the most is something you should do when you are good and ready; it's less about whether or not other parties can handle the news.

To bring up a real WDTFS point. I think it's interesting that Sungji doesn't seem to give any fucks about her friends or family knowing she's dating a woman. She just seems awkward talking about relationship stuff with them in general.
