Yeah I don't have time to sit down and reread for details like that. Weekend activity.
There never was an indication about how long it has been since they started dating. I think ?
It might be intentionally ambiguous. We've seen the stuff about celebrating 100 days (with the redhead), so since Sungji hasn't brought up anything like that, my guess is more than a month and less than 3 for the length of the relationship. The time between Sungji starting at the company and the start of the relationship, I can't think of anything distinct off the top of my head.
Whoa. That's a pretty fast development compared to FF. Lol

FF isn't at the relationship part yet lol. But SeolRae also only feels so long because of the number of chapters. They only recently started up their second semester of classes together. So they've known each other for one semester (I don't know how long a Korean university semester is) plus winter break (a few weeks?) -- probably 5-6 months I'd guess.
I really need to start reading FF..
Well we went through both of their birthdays and if I'm not mistaken they even said when their birthdays were, or at least it said it in their profile information. So I would think it's been awhile.

Well, the chapters in FF were like in a day to day basis and that's probably why it seems a bit longer than it actually is. So umm, how many chapters are we looking at in FF again ?? Lol
Wow okay I started putting way too much thought into this, but...

Winner winner chicken dinner. Sungji's birthday is April 28th, and Sumin's is July 12th. Before her birthday, Sungji got her first paycheck and went on the company retreat where it was sakura season, so probably March or April. So my guess is she started at the company between February and early April, got together with Sumin early July or late June (took them 3-5 months), and from then to now it's... I don't know. Considering the otherworldly sexual tension (frustration for Sungji), I'd think 3 months minimum but again surprised they haven't mentioned any relationship milestones. Watch them talk about the 100 day mark next chapter and I'll have gone through all this for absolutely no reason.
I really need to start reading FF..
If you're going to read FF, I'd do it once WDTFS ends. Pending some author vacation, both are on track to end within about a month of each other. If I had the willpower not to read FF every week, I wouldn't. I'd just binge read all 100 chapters once it's done and they're finally together lol.

Last chapter was 68 lol. And FF is only sort of day to day, and then Ssamba conveniently time skips past moments that you think something intense is going to happen next chapter.

Totally hate how I grew fond of Seju and Sumin's lost relationship, that I had to force myself to not care at this point.
I didn't care from the beginning, so much so that once I saw the last chapter was all SejuxSumin flashback I didn't bother to read the translation or analyze the pages (I was shocked by my own apathy; I don't think I've ever forgone humoring a storyline and just skipped it because I spent all my fucks to give).
Apparently I'm alone on that.
There is something about Seju that is reptilian like. She reminds me of Hilary Clinton.

I'm having a hard time putting scales on someone with grapefruit-size boobs.
I'm sure TeamPink will hate me for this, but Sumin x Sungji can stand on its own without Seju. It might not be as riveting or heart-wrenching (clearly you don't care about this) of a story, but it could happen. Since the original concept was without Seju written in, my guess is that the redhead would get more screen-time. Personally I think without Seju in the mix, the story becomes much more pedestrian yuri.

Plot twist: Seju is secret member of the Illuminati xD Is Trump better? lol
I don't know about you guys, I think that without Seju the story would be just plain well drawn hentai. To me there is no much depth into Sumin and Sungji relationship. They are your typical yuri couple that I've seen before a lot.
This is also why FF is popular, because it breaks the stereotypical yuri standards and has more depth in it.
Of course Sumin and Sungji could be developed more in the future, but the way Gaji chooses to develop their relationship right now, and for some time is around sex. For example, we've been waiting since chapter 39 (?) when they would finally have sex. When they did, now their relationship goes around having more sex.
I personally like Seju, I think she's a great character and adds a lot to the story. I may not be TeamPink but I still am glad that Team Gaji decided to add Seju in. Sure she may have been thrown in at the last minute, but she's interesting and a great addition.
What else do you guys want to see about Sumin x Sungji? They've become all lovey dovey. It must be good enough, right?
Well Sumin still needs to tell Sungji about her past with Seju lol. Other than that I'm curious to see what will be coming up in their relationship since there are still over 30 chapters left, correct?

A relationship is not always interesting to read just because the main characters are all good and lovey-dovey. It needs more layers to it to be more compelling.
I'm not Gaji to know what they're planning for them (or if) but I think their dynamic regarding how Sungji is supposed to be healling Sumin is flat.
They only showed it by having Sumin being reluctant of having sex with Sungji, and maybe doing some things that she doesn't like much (like the Amusement Park).
Now they are still developing their relationship almost entirely sex.
Like Sumin doing more romantic stuff for Sungji, or asking her to stay at her home, etc.
It just feels out of nowhere how a person as damaged as Sumin is healling like this.
If I was 13 and read this story I think I would dislike Seju. But there is no absolute black and white regarding what is right and wrong.

i honestly do share your point, but i think the story hasn't reached it yet. though tbh it kind of looks like it might is heading that way very quickly, which will be a big shame and i won't be very glad about it. i hope Team Gaji has something else in mind..
i still stand by my opinion that Sumin has not healed yet, and that she is not "in love" with Sungji yet. i don't even think Sungji is completely "in love" with Sumin either. she doesn't know a whole lot about Sumin at all honestly. why don't they talk about themselves more? to each other face-to-face, not through Nami (with Sumin being unaware of it even). the sappy romantic gestures, sexual tension, and actual sex is nice and all but they feel rather shallow if i'm being perfectly honest here. and for a relationship that's supposed to be "healing", i expect more than just that kind of shallowness. she's merely getting her wounds licked so far (inb4 lesbian sex joke). which is probably why i find Seju to be the most intriguing character in the story right now.
not saying that Sumin and Seju's relationship is super deep or anything but tbh it is much deeper than Sumin and Sungji's at the moment. Sungji is just painfully oblivious and naive while Sumin is just not progressing much in the actual " healing" and "changing for the better" department. but then again the story is only about half way through. i'm glad that they talked this episode and Sungji got to know more about Sumin, though next time it should be through talking with Sumin herself, not Nami (though i doubt Sumin will be that open to her depsite saying "you can ask me anything you're curious about").
i hope something more meaningful and exciting will happen soon.
also shower sex...... (thumbs up)

I wouldn't say Sumin and Seju's relationship is deeper. It just seems so because it's very damaged. If you think about their relationship before Seju cheated I don't think it seems particularly deep either.
Also I'm pretty sure that they are in fact in love. The point is that since this is a story you can't possibly show every single thing that they are doing together. I rarely see anyone else complaining when it comes to other stories, if you think about it pretty much every story seems shallow if you take it that way. Since this story seems quite realistic it's easy to forget that there are certain aspects that must be covered in a certain amount of chapters thus leaving a lot of things behind.
However I will say that generally the characters do seem a bit underdeveloped; especially Sungji... we really don't know much about her other than the fact that she is a bit weird and really likes plush toys and is madly in love with her Team Leader :P I mean for Sungji... if you take Team Leader out of the picture she seems kind of dull. Not that she is but the story hasn't show anything interesting in that regard yet.
I'm not sure why you say Sumin is not healing... I think it's pretty obvious that she is. She is not cold like before and she has become more romantic and playful and she actually really cares about Sungji. I mean, yes, she is really damaged but I wouldn't say she's that damaged that having a girl that she likes being so sweet to her wouldn't make her fall in love eventually. She still has a lot of progress to make but I think Sumin is the one who has mostly changed. She tried to do things for Sungji and treat her nicely and make her feel safe.
The only thing I will admit is that maybe Sungji should have done something a bit more dramatic for Sumin to fall for her. Something that would make Sumin feel that this is the right girl for her but since they didn't develop Sungji too much there isn't anything like that. But still, Sungji is kind of goofy and also very sincere so I guess there is not need to complicate things too much.
On another note, I think FF characters are really well developed but we are always reading their monologues. In wdtfs we only read Sumin's and even so they're mostly in flashbacks and we don't get what she is actually thinking. Also, this story might be a bit more simple than we might think. Like, I mean... more... light-hearted. It's just that the fact that there was all this drama in the past makes it hard for someone to view it that way even though it sort of is I think.
Also... Sumin's dominant and possessive attitude is sooooo alluring ^///^ omg! But romantic Sumin is also really cute. I just wanna see her chill a bit more and just lift Sungji up and spin her around and be like "yayyy" :D

i can see that Sumin is changing but i wouldn't say she's really "healing" much, at least not yet. and i honestly think Sumin needs more than just love to heal her. she doesn't trust Sungji enough to truly be "healed" yet. it does seem like she might be getting there, and i think either Nami or Seju will help speeding that process up.
i think Sungji kind of suffers from the "love interest" syndrome where she's rather dull without Sumin. i blame Team Gaji for this since they hardly develop her character. i hope we get to see more of Sungji and who she is soon..
Sumin and Seju's relationship seems deeper even when one doesn't consider how damaged it is is mainly because of trust (in many cases but not some) and the dependence factor, the fact that they only have each other as family (which is yes, rather unhealthy). Sumin and Sungji don't seem to have a lot of "trust" in their relationship yet, which is understandable since they are a new couple, but since they already slept together it makes it kind of sticks out even more and seems kind of weird. maybe it's just personal preference but i'd only start sleeping with someone if i trust them more than what Sumin and Sungji is having right now. and to me this is why i don't think they're "in love" yet, because their relationship hasn't reached that level of mutual trust yet.
also Sumin's dominance is indeed very attractive. and Sungji is such a butt-lover. she has groped Sumin's butt twice (?) now lol. romantic Sumin is still my favourite though. seeing her being all bashful and blushing when she was still with Seju and when she's around Sungji is great haha.

I don't think Sumin has fully healed yet, I think she still has a ways to go. And I don't think she's totally in love with Sungji yet either, but that is just how I see it. And I agree that she doesn't trust Sungji enough yet to be completely healed.
I think it would be great if they could develop Sungjjs character more as it's hard to really get into the Sungji and Sumin relationship without knowing a ton about her.
And oliver I read the first chapter of FF but then had to go to work so I wasn't able to read anymore lol
And speaking of work I have to go into a meeting otherwise my comment would be much longer XD
well, yes you are right but I think that's merely because Sumin has been so wounded in the past that she's a bit afraid of completely opening up still. Sungji seems to trust Sumin completely though. I think Sumin is a bit more private as a person and I think she is a bit afraid of revealing her past to Sungji. She seemed to have hesitated when Sungji asked her if she could ask anything. But I think she looks like she's working on it and it feels like she tries her best and she's so protective of Sungji it's so cuteeee omg >.< what will I do when this ends? T_T I hope Team Gaji writes another comic about characters like these. They are literally my favorite characters ever. They're a bit like Honey and Nat-chan from Re:Cutie Honey. It's sooo cuteeeeee >.< squeal sigh~ I certainly don't have a life >.>
I love how Sungji and Sumin have changed more and more with the time in their relationship.
I do not share when someone says that Sumin has not changed , I mean, Sumin was a cold person who did not care about feelings of other because of failed love relationships, but now, she worry about Sungji and their relation. We can not wait Sumin changes totally, that could be unreal.
Some things in this chapter can show us some changes in the sumin life:
-She smiles like not before she did it.
-She is not scared about Sungji as in the begining, because now, she trusts her girlfriend.
-She plays more with Sungji, so they have a better interaction.
And the most important...
-She wants improve her healthy (Something that she forgot when she broke up with Seju)
Obviously this couple need to go forward more but they can do it in a short time.
On the other hand, I need to know what will happen with Seju and her family... I really want to know more about her, it is necessary because in the first part, we knew about Sumin, in this second part is the inning of Seju.
P.S: I love how Nami can dissolve the tension and the best scene was when Sungji take off the shirt of Sumin, that was cute.
basically my point is Sumin has changed and is still changing, but she's not very "healed" yet and she still doesn't trust Sungji enough to be "in love" with her. but she is getting there fortunately.
Faylicia
yeah i definitely agree that Sumin is too wounded to open herself up yet. hopefully that will change soon. Sumin and Sungji is a cute and most likely endgame couple so i want them to get good developments. i wonder if Sumin will try to be a bit more open and initiate small talks with Sungji from now on.
i think the main reason why the story feels weird to some people right now is because Sumin and mainly Sungji's condition vs Seju's condition right now is so drastically different. plus Team Gaji seems to have a habit of making a few chapters in a row happy, heart-warming Sumin/Sungji then insert 1 chapter of depressing Seju, which makes the storytelling feels like it lacks direction and resolution.
i can't comment much on Team Gaji's writing skills but i absolutely adore their artstyle. i too hope that they will go on and draw more yuri manhwas after this one.
also Sungji telling Sumin to do the cheers post to take off her shirt lol. that is super cute.

The thing is, Sumin has changed, but it feels sudden and out of nowhere. The way it is presented is wrong imo. It is not convincing. Because it feels like these movies where the prince suddenly comes and saves the girl, and then everything is fine.

Yes that's the thing. There's the promise of plot, but then nothing happens, and also instead of some solid character development there is only cute moments

i honestly expected that it'd take a bit longer for Sumin and Sungji to officially get together so i was a bit surprised when they did so earlier than i thought.
though i think Team Gaji does show character development (mostly for Sumin. everyone else is kind of stuck/underdeveloped right now tbh) very subtly, perhaps a little too subtly for some. it'd be nice if they step it up in the future.
yes I must agree it's not super convincing because we haven't seen much about Sungji but I wouldn't say it's totally out of the blue, yes, maybe a bit idealistic...
Now that I think of it though... when you have a crush on someone like Sungji you kind of forget about everything and the only thing you want is to be cute to that person so you end up goofing around all the time and you forget to actually talk about something more... deep(?) I don't know if that the right way to put it but yeah... Now that I think of it that's kind of a bad habit... gosh... it kind of struck me just now o_o... O||||O
