I've never watched once upon time. Is it a decent show? Or is one of those shows that completly fluke and is just used for more marketing?

^At least the nature of Homura's feelings was confirmed to be romantic, and it's not like they ever changed no matter how many times she reset, it's just that Madoka didn't reciprocate (most of the time anyway, Homura's repeated the loop thousands of times and I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one timeline where they were a couple briefly). MadoHomu is still very strongly canon, or about as canon as you can get with a show like this anyway.

Of course when you have thousands of timelines (which subjectively would mean Homura is very old in relation to the others even though she's physically the same age) then every pairing would be possible. Except Sayaka x Kyosuke, of course. That'll never happen.

I don't really like the art, which is sad since there is almost no Monochrome on here.

Pretty funny that you'd say that, because the author who drew this either makes Sayaka part of the Law of Cycles or pairs her with Kyousuke.

Okay, the thought of Sayaka literally being a part of Madoka/Law of Cycles, trying to keep the two of them apart even though they like each other, strikes me as really funny.

I thought of it more like this, but I guess either way is fine.

We all know that Homura loves Madoka, but in the series she never reciprocated that love. Of course there is a possibility that they became a couple in one of the loops, but unless the authors say so, all we have is insinuation and undertones. That's why I say that KyouMami is the closest we could have to a "canon" pairing, because they were the only ones to have some kind of lasting relationship in the series.
