Occasionally the birds form homosexual pairs consisting of two females. This has been observed in the colony on the Hawaiian island Oahu, where the sex ratio of male to female is 2 to 3 and 31% of all pairs are between females. Unpaired females pair up among themselves and successfully breed.

art nightmare?

The noses kinda weirded me out at first but by the end I kinda liked them. The whole thing was quite cute regardless.

Gay birds, huh. Mother nature is a funny one.
Also, I wonder if the long noses were intentional because albatrosses have huge beaks or if the author just draws his/her characters like this. Either way, it's something that I can get used to, it's quite cute.

Edit: It seems like the author (Molico Ross) has a 50 chapters long series going of this. (Correct me if I'm wrong, we can only see 6 chapters (Chapters 1, 2, 3, 48, 49 and 50) on the website EvilDevil sent, so I'm not sure.)
There is some het in there, too, but it seems fun. I might buy it some day.
