^It's just a regular inn. They ended this chapter with a shot of an inn, so does it mean that Sumin is finally going all the way with Sungji?
Yes! I wished for this didn't Sungji said she wanted a star well she's going to see stars
If what I think happens happens. Maybe it's still too early for Sumin to be in love with Sungji, they don't know much about each other
I just realized something this manhwa came out on my birthday last year.

I think the same could apply for Sungji, I don't think it seems like very good writing to introduce a protagonist just to have her get heartbroken and move the focus onto some other character. The focal character is Sumin that's for sure but mostly I think we see form Sungji's point of view. And as other people said, it's supposed to be a healing story... so I don't think Sumin is going to return to Seju after all this time. There will probably be a misunderstanding of some sort though I think... Also, Sungji can say a bit childish things but I don't think Sumin is babysitting her at all... she actually supports Sumin and does her best to make her happy. Yeah and um, not everyone really needs to date a bunch of other people before finding the right one, sometimes you are lucky and/or thoughtful and you find the right one quickly and you just love that person and you are not interested in others... Just people someone is young doesn't mean they have to date around, especially if they are in love... why would they do that?

Happy endings don't always mean the two protagonists ending up with each other. A happy ending can be someone growing up and lerning from their experiences too
I agree with Layla that Sungji is still 10 years younger than Sumin, and this is also her first relationship.
Being 24 would be better to have some experiences with people/lovers before settling down.
Or course there are also people who have been married to their first love and can stay happy with them. But personally I think the growing up choice is better in a lot of times
I'm not sure about the way Sumin went after Sungji after just one day. This to me seems more like need than love. Sure, Sumin does love Sungji, but the way she acted seemed like she couldn't stand being alone and ran after her. Even if someone is madly in love, if they are healthy they can handle being apart from their lover.
I'm not sure what the writers are trying to do with this, but to me it comes off as need. But Gaji could still see this a falling more and more in love.
As for Seju, I will be pished if she ends up with Nami. She hasn't shown any interest at her all, and if they suddenly pull this it will be sucky writing and forced.

Yes I agree that maybe there would be a way of making them not be together... but everything in the story does seem to point at them being together... The main reason why I say this is being Sungji is the protagonist of the story but on the other hand Sumin is the focal character. This automatically makes the story about Sumin's life and how Sungji, the protagonist influences it. They could break up in the end but I think it would be hard to make Sumin go back to Seju because it would either require the focus to shift to Sungji and her heartbreak taking it away from Sumin or the opposite, making Sumin the protagonist and discarding Sungji as unrelated to the whole story. It would be strange to have all these flashbacks about Sumin's life and then suddenly shift to how Sungji deals with hers. It would also be strange to have Sungji as the protagonist we follow through the whole story just to leave her behind afterwards. If the author was going to do that I think they would have taken a different approach from the beginning... But I have no clue what they're planning to do. Apparently there's a plot twist (?).
Also I don't think that there's any reason for Sungji to "grow up"... I mean she is in love with Sumin and she is serious about her and Sumin seems to be as well... why would Sumin dump her just because she is inexperienced in love? I don't always think maturity comes with how many relationships you've had or how old you are... And it is possible the whole story is hinting at this, because Sumin has had so many relationships and she still struggles and Sungji might not have had any but she knows she wants Sumin and she isn't afraid to show it.
And um, I don't think it was that Sumin missed Sungji that much... as she said she believed Sungji was mad at her and she was guilty because she didn't show her how much she meant to her and they just had this sort of fallout before Sungji left... so I think Sungji wanted to go see her in order to apologize and by doing that she wanted to show her that she was actually important to her and that she cared. Maybe it was a bit needy that she didn't wait until Sungji came back but she had been kind of indifferent this whole time and I think she felt like she wanted to do something sweet for her as well... I wouldn't really say she's needy in an unhealthy way based on only this, well she does have a certain degree of fear of intimacy due to insecurity but I don't think it's that bad that it won't be solved if they just talk. And well a tiny bit possessive is fine I think, anything is fine as long as it doesn't cause either of them problems, isn't it? If Sungji disliked it maybe they wouldn't be right for each other but she seems to like it so ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪
Yes, I don't think Seju should end up with Nami because there's no time to establish a relationship between them but maybe in the end we will see something that hints at them getting together in the future and I think that would be fine... or Seju will turn into an antagonist and try to kill Sungji and pretend she's pregnant with Sumin's bab---- wait, that only happens in telenovelas. Hahahah, I mean I hope something dumb like that doesn't happen, though she second part is obviously out of question.

I think it's most probably going to be Sumin/Sungji in the end. Although I dissagree about the definition of happy endings.
Just because the story has developed around their relationship, this does not automatically mean the happy ending is them ending up together.
There are other morals a reader can get from a story besides two protagonists living happy ever after. Everyone gets heartbroken at some point in their lives but they find the strength to move on. Otherwise everyone would remain depressed after their first break up. To me this is a good moral for a story too. Not that this will happen, just talking in general.
Good endings are not always black or white, happy or sad. There is also the inbetween which makes them more realistic and maybe relatable.
Besides, following this logic why take time to develop Seju's character when she's going to have a bad ending since she's not going to be with Sumin? They could just make her character a little less important, or at least stop showing all of these flashbacks of them together, but they still chose to make her a protagonist with a not good looking future.
I'm not saying Sumin will dump Sungji because she's inexperienced, nor that Sungji has to leave Sumin because she has to have more experiences. But I can't help but think how their relationship would work in the future. Like after 5 years. Of course they could make it work, but there are still some important differences between them besides the age. Sumin is a very broken person and can sometimes be dark. Sungji on the other hand is all naive and a sunshine.
Maybe Sumin was feeling bad about what happened, but I think she went to Sungji's town mostly because she missed her. Because when Sungji left, Sumin thought to herself "I've never been apart from her for a day" and she was looking at the fox. Seems pretty much that she was missing her.
Yeah I guess maybe she was missing her too, I don't know...
I don't mean that it's necessary for there to be a happy ending, I just mean that if they don't end up together I don't think it's not going to be because Sumin wants to go back to Seju and realizes she loves her... because that would would have to change the whole logic of the story since Seju would need to become more important than she is as a character... or either Sumin will lose her position as the focal character...
I believe... one way this could not end so well but at the same time not feel disorganized would be making a sort of parallel. So for example, something would happen to Sungji which would cause Sumin to get insecure and she would cheat on her with Seju. Then she would realize she made a mistake but it will be too late because Sungji has found out... The story would focus on how Sumin deals with this but again we would keep following Sungji through Sumin's point of view. Basically I think it's like Sumin is narrating a story where Sungji is the protagonist so this shouldn't suddenly be changed.
Sungji's role is obvious here, it's to heal Sumin. She is there to teach Sumin how to love again. So we can just rule out the Sumin might cheat on Sungji scenario, because if that happens, we'll be back to square one and this will not be a healing story, it'll be a tragedy. Also it'll show that Team Gaji is a shitty author (which they are not).
Since the story hasn't ended yet, possibility is always there. Sumin might end up with Sungji, or she may not. Maybe she'll end up with Seju, who knows? There's also a possibility of the three of them being happy together as and end game. A lot of things can still happen in 40 chapters.
I'm still hoping that team gaji would give us a little more insight about Seju. I want to see the story from her perspective, because to be honest, as much I love seeing the progress between Sumin and Sungji and how cute they both are, the story is getting kind of boring. I can't believe I'm saying this but some drama is kind of needed here. The story needs a little spice.
I am also not so into the idea of Seju ending up with Nami. Seju dislike her so much to even forbid her from coming to the office without permission (I really want to know the reason behind that). I agree that it'll feel kind of forced if they somehow get together anytime soon. Maybe later, but not now. If they want to pair Seju with Nami, maybe they could just hint it to us with some progress in their 'friendship'.

I agree completely. If Sumin ever cheats on Sungji, I'll drop the series. What kind of move is that? Sumin was broken by Seju's one night stand cheating and could not forgive her after 10 years, so Sumin should never ever do that to someone else.

I'm on no one's team; I just want to read a good story. So I agree that we need more of Seju's pov, like those chapters with Seju's inner monologue about how she thought Sumin would always come back to her then she walked in on Sumin sleeping on Sungji's lap. It was dark but "spicy." With the latest chapters, I feel like WDTFS is trying to be FF (lol), and I don't think it's working *just yet*. Maybe soon. Idk. But WDTFS should definitely stay WDTFS.
Didn't they originally plan on 40 chapters only, then extended to 80? Could it be that they're a lil lost? lol

Yeah. Team Gaji really needs to show me more about Nami, because as of right now I'm not sold on this pair at all.
I love the Sumin and Sungji cuteness, but I think what would stop people from being bored is if ,Sumin deflowered Sungji.
I would really want to know about Seju more even though I don't like her.
I got a question I brought the English translation of wdtfs on lezhin but I also read it for free somewhere else and I think in the 4th chapter Seju said Sumin hooked up with a high schooler and the other has Seju saying she wants to hook up with a high schooler. But I'm thinking if Sumin did hook up with a high schooler wouldn't it be in the flashback?

Lol. Nah I think Gaji is keeping Sungji's purity to make things more intense. Kinda feels like they are dragging it a little too. It seems that they are focusing on developing their romance instead of the sex, which is good for their relationship.
Seol-A going after No-Rae vs Sumi going after Sungji feels completely different, even though it's the same action. So I agree wdtfs should stay as it is, no need to try and combine all of these.
As for Nami, I'm not sure if I would ever like her even if we saw more of her part. She reminds me of these mischievous girls that can do nasty things to get with someone.

True, we need more of those spices and telling the story from Seju's pov can give a little bit of that. Yes, WDTF started kind of dark and then now it's almost all fluff. Although I was wondering if they're giving us all the fluff now because they're going to throw in some heavy drama soon? Looking forward to that

They did took a break because they said that they need to develop the story's plot, so I think they are a little lost.

The correct one is the translation on lezhin. It doesn't necessarily need to be shown in a flashback that Sumin once hooked up with a highschool girl.

I really think Sumin is hot wish she were real or met someone that looked like her.
Thanks for answering my question Martian

We might need more than 80 chapters for the series. As to refer on what was actually going on with the story line.

I thought the news about Sumin being modeled after Taeyeon was a joke, but maybe it isn't. Even the outfit match, what a coincidence.

Seems like they got different outfits Taeyeon wore on different occasions.
Nice to know she was modeled after a real life person. I'm still hoping I can date someone that looks like her in the future.
@Kittycat25
Not just Sumin, but the whole cast got modeled after SNSD. it's hella crazy.
Holy smokes damn ! This has to be a joke but it's serious they got the chairman too, and that chick in the tub. Wow this is not a coincidence, they have everyone on here

omg I looked up Taeyeon though and she's nothing like Sumin apart from the clothes in those photos... she's too cute actually... the face, makeup... Sumin is so cool, not girly like that >.> omg
And yeah I don't think Sumin would cheat on Sungji either... it was just a dumb example. But definitely not go back to Seju, because I'm pretty sure that would destroy the flow of the narrative unless it ended abruptly... In any case I don't think there is any possible way of making it a good story if she ends up with her... I mean, there can be plot twists but they have to follow the narrative, you can't suddenly change protagonist or focal character in the middle of the story >.< Also I HATE Seju... No tbh, I understand her, but her whole attitude all those years has shown that she is sneaky and rather manipulative... not someone Sumin wants to be with...
And Sumin... she's so cool, but kind of delicate deep inside... >///< she's great!

Seju's POV;
Having a familly that dispises you and calls you "it" when they are referring to you.
Having noone else who loves you besides Sumin and maybe that creepy guy you was obsessed with her.
Trying to do a good deed for her girlfriend, so she gives her parents free tickes for USA. They die on that trip.
Girlfriend getting depressed and think it's her fault (even if she doesn't say it) that her parents died.
She is acting very cold and Seju thinks she's going to lose the only person that loves her and considers as familly
She feels guilty over Sumin's parents death, get drunk and ends up screwing the only good relationship in her life
Sumin leaves her and is trying to hurt her by having Seju listening to when she is having sex with other women
Sumin still comes back to Seju when her relationships fail
Seju gives Sumin a high paying job and expensive gifts like her car
Sumin finds a cuter girl and Seju's chances of getting back at the only woman she loved vanish
Her father is sick and there are chances of him dying. So she loses both Sumin and her dad in the end.
Nami magically fixing Seju because she's now the only person that shows a romantic interest in her.
Gaji sure has made Seju suffer a lot. Her story is so sad, it's really going to be very cruel if they give her a bad ending on top of that. Only Sumin deserves good things happening to her?

You forgot to mention Seju cheating on Sumin was when she the most vulnerable, when she lost the other people most important to her besides Seju , her parents. Seju being self and thinking that she should get over it in a month and on top of that sending her to a country where her parents died where she'll be reminded of it for a year.
Then giving up on Sumin when she's at her worse , instead of sticking by her, then when Sumin manages to pull herself out of depression ,to apologize and surprise her. She found the only person in the world who she loves and trust betraying her.
How dare Sumin be upset. And let's not forget Sumin walked in and saw Seju in someone else's arms , it served her right to
hear it maybe now she'll know how it feels.

This is not a matter of Sumin vs Seju again. It has been discussed before a lot of times, so no point of repeating the same over and over. Of course Seju was at fault for cheating, I'm not saying it was ok. And how she handled Sumin's depression was not the best either.
Sumin has already found Sungji, so this is not about Sumin and Seju getting back together again, nor trying to put a blame on one of them.
All I'm saying is how Seju might have felt during the whole situation. It's natural some people don't like her, so I don't think they have to see the things from her pov. I'm not trying to justify her actions nor to say it was Sumin's fault for them breaking up.
I just feel that her character has suffered a lot through the series, and even Sumin will get her happy ending, Seju's future seems not so good.
